The comparison of the characteristics between the petroliferous basins on two sides of Altun fault belt and oil and gas exploration

摘要

In this paper, we focus on the characteristic analysis of the deposition , basin style , structure deformation and the evolution of multicycle basin, especially on the difference of the basin evolution and late-deformation since late Permian. It is the activity of the Altun fault belt that made the difference in the source rock, reservoir rock, cap rock, the assemblages, the trap and the reservoir preservations on the two sides of the basin, it is very important to study the characteristic differences among the basins in the petroleum exploration and the evaluation of the foreland fold-thrust belt, especially in the seismic acquisition, processing and the interpretation which are guided by the geological modeling.
