摘要： This article focuses on the study of the places where spouses first met in contemporary Italy.Using data provided by the nationally representative survey“Family,Social Subjects and the Life Cycle”,carried out in 2016 by Italian National Institute of Statistics(Istat)and made available in 2020,the article investigates trends in couples’places of meeting and the relation between contexts of meeting and structural determinants such as social class and territorial affiliation.The results support the idea that even in contemporary societies partner’s choice is shaped by a set of social and cultural constraints and is not solely the result of personal preferences inspired by the ideal of romantic love.

摘要： Myths and customs are cultural phenomena of mutual learning. In a sense, folk customs become the carrier of myth transmission, and myth is one of the important basis for interpreting customs. The Myth of Wise Hedgehog is a unique myth type relatedto Mongolian marriage custom. The marriage custom has become the carrier of this kind of myth, and many translations ofsuch myths are the powerful basis for interpreting this custom.

摘要： BACKGROUND Teenage pregnancy is a challenging issue worldwide.Yet,despite the increased health risk and socioeconomic impact of teenage pregnancy,the numbers remain high in Nepal.AIM To determine the prevalence and sociodemographic factors associated with teenage pregnancy in Nepal.METHODS A hospital-based cross-sectional study was conducted in the Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital from April to August 2017.A total of 1359 mothers were assessed and interviewed regarding their reproductive history and sociodemographic attributes.Ethical approval from the Nepal Health Research Council,permission from the concerned hospital,and consent from study subjects were obtained.RESULTS Of the 5526 deliveries,679(12.3%)were teenage pregnancy deliveries.The majority(85.1%)of mothers(out of 1359)were married at<20 years of age,with a mean age of marriage of 17.57 years(±1.994,range:12-25 years).Marriage age was a significant determinant of teenage pregnancy(odds ratio[OR]2.423[2.262-2.596];P<0.001).Likewise,a love marriage(OR:2.018[1.585-2.570];P<0.001)and first teenage pregnancy(OR:3.622[3.265-4.017];P<0.001)were significant determinants for subsequent teen pregnancies.Knowledge of family planning methods(OR:0.474;0.288-0.779;P=0.003)and use of any methods of family planning utilization(OR:0.345;0.248-0.479;P=0.000)significantly lowered the chance of teenage pregnancy.CONCLUSION Teenage pregnancy occupies a substantial proportion of total deliveries in the Nepalese maternity hospital.In addition,early pregnancy was significantly associated with age and type of marriage,education level,knowledge,and practice of contraceptive methods.

摘要： The Minhang District Court of Shanghai announced the first case of revocation of marital relationship by applying the new provisions of the Civil Code at the beginning of 2021.The defendant was used for failure to disclose to the plaintiff the fact that he was diagnosed with HIV before marriage.In addition,the Minhang Court decided to revoke the marriage relationship of the defendant according to Article 1053 of the Civil Code.As a result,the case aroused widespread concern and discussion at the societal level.The obligation of people with HIV/AIDS to inform their spouses and sexual partners thus entered the level of legal consequences.However,the new provisions of the Civil Code do not simply refer to the problem of HIV/AIDS and do not involve individuals with marital relationships.However,scholars found that many people with HIV/AIDS are unwilling to fulfill the obligation to disclose in practice[1].This scenario motivates the current study to examine the obligation of patients with HIV/AIDS to inform their spouses.

摘要： BACKGROUND The pathophysiology of takotsubo syndrome(TTS)is not well understood,however,it is often precipitated by psychological or physical stress.Marital status is related to emotional stress,but its associations with TTS are limited.AIM To explored the potential association between marital status and TTS.METHODS We conducted a case-control study using data on patients aged≥40 years with marital status data in the National Hospital Discharge Survey(2006-2010).The International Classification of Diseases Ninth Revision codes were used to identify cases with TTS and other comorbid conditions.Each case was matched to 5 controls by age,sex,year of TTS diagnosis and bed size of hospital.Two sets of controls were selected:Acute myocardial infarction(AMI)controls and noncardiovascular disease(CVD)controls.Conditional logistic regression was used to estimate odds ratios(OR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)for the association of marital status with TTS.RESULTS The 59 patients with TTS who had information on marital status were matched to 295 controls with AMI and 295 non-CVD controls,resulting in a sample of 649 patients.The average age of cases was 69.7±11 years with 90%being women and 88%reporting White race.In multivariable-adjusted models,compared to singles,patients who were married had lower odds of TTS(OR=0.86,95%CI:0.79–0.93)while those who were widowed(OR=1.14,95%CI:1.05–1.23)or divorced/separated(OR=1.32,95%CI:1.21–1.45)had elevated odds for TTS when compared to non-CVD controls.Similar results were observed when cases were compared to controls with AMI.CONCLUSION In this study,being married was associated with lower odds for TTS while being divorced/separated or widowed was related to elevated odds for TTS.These novel findings that underscore the potential importance of social factors like marital status in the development of TTS need confirmation in larger studies.
