    • 摘要: The hepatitis C virus(HCV),an obligatory intracellular pathogen,highly depends on its host cells to propagate successfully.The HCV life cycle can be simply divided into several stages including viral entry,protein translation,RNA replication,viral assembly and release.Hundreds of cellular factors involved in the HCV life cycle have been identified over more than thirty years of research.Characterization of these cellular factors has provided extensive insight into HCV replication strategies.Some of these cellular factors are targets for anti-HCV therapies.In this review,we summarize the well-characterized and recently identified cellular factors functioning at each stage of the HCV life cycle.

    • 摘要: The increasing demand for the state-of-the-art transparent conductive electrodes has received great interest in synthesizing silver nanowires(AgNWs)with a uniform diameter that exhibit excellent conductance,transparency,flexibility and mechanical ductility.Herein,we report the controllable synthesis of ultrathin AgNWs with high aspect ratio via a polyol-assisted process.The diameter of AgNWs can be continuously modulated from 20 to 80 nm by simply adjusting the aging time.The selfassembled films fabricated by using AgNWs with a diameter of 20 nm as building blocks enable an excellent performance and show a sheet resistance of~30Ω/sq and an optical transmittance of 94%.In addition,such nanowire-based conductive films can keep the excellent flexibility and resistance after bending 10,000 cycles.Similarly,the intelligent dimming films prepared by this AgNW films also have excellent flexibility and stability.

    • 摘要: Soft cable-driven systems have been employed in many assembled mechanisms, such as industrial robots, parallel kinematic mechanism machines, medical devices, and humaniform hands. A pre-stretching process is necessary to guarantee the quality of cable-driven systems during the assembly process. However, the stress relaxation of cables becomes a critical concern during long-term operation. This study investigates the effects of non-uniform deformation and long-term stress relaxation of the driven cables owing to moving parts in the system. A simple closed-loop cable-driven system is built and an alternating load is applied to it to replicate the operation of transmission cables. Under different experimental conditions, the cable tension is recorded and the boundary data are selected to be curve-fitted. Based on the fitted results, a formula is presented to estimate the stress relaxation of cables to evaluate the assembly performance. Further experimental results show that the stress relaxation is mainly caused by cable creep and the assembly procedure. To remove the influence of the assembly procedure, a modified pre-stretching assembly method based on the stress relaxation theory is proposed and verification experiments are performed. Finally, the assembly performance is optimized using a cable-driven surgical robot as an example. This paper proposes a dual stretching method instead of the pre-stretching method to assemble the cable-driven system to improve its performance and prolong its service life.

    • 摘要: 随着移动通信技术的发展,在物联网技术的快速发展和云服务的推动下,边缘计算成为5G时代的必然选择。但是边缘计算的发展也面临着很多挑战。在边缘计算中,针对固定互联网、移动通信网、消费物联网、工业互联网等不同网络的接入和承载技术中,边缘计算的技术实现存在一定差异。计算任务分到各种不同平台的边缘节点上,不仅使程序开发者面临巨大的困难,而且存在安全问题。通过基于WebAssembly的技术使用各个平台的浏览器作为计算容器,降低了开发难度,提高了使用安全性,大大提升了可以用于进行边缘计算设备的范围和数量,从而充分调动客户拥有的算力。

    • 摘要: Numerical solution of a radiative radial fin with temperature-dependent thermal conductivity is presented. Calculations are implemented along the lines of a boundary integral technique coupled with domain discretization. Localized solutions of the nonlinear governing differential equation are sought on each element of the problem domain after enforcing inter-nodal connectivity as well as the boundary conditions for the dependent variables. A finite element-type assembly of the element equations and matrix solution yield the scalar profile. Comparison of the numerical results with those found in literature validates the formulation. The effects of such problem parameters as radiation-sink temperature, thermal conductivity, radiation-conduction fin parameter, volumetric heat generation, on the scalar profile were found to be in conformity with the physics of the problem. We also observed from this study that the volumetric heat generation plays a significant role in the overall heat transfer activity for a fin. For relatively high values of internal heat generation, a situation arises where a greater percentage of this energy can not escape to the environment and the fin ends up gaining energy instead of losing it. And the overall fin performance deteriorates. The same can also be said for the radiation-conduction parameter , whose increases can only give physically realistic results below a certain threshold value.

    • 摘要: This study aimed at designing and assembling an improvised Logic Gates Simulator that can be utilized as an instructional device in basic digital electronics instruction at Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus, Philippines. This instructional device is believed to enhance the teaching-learning process and would also help address the scarcity of instructional equipment in the school and in the country. Descriptive method of research was employed to come up with the design of the simulator based on the course content of basic digital electronics subject. Acceptability of the improvised simulator based on standards set in this study was?gathered from the experts as respondents using a self-made questionnaire. The data were treated using average weighted mean utilizing parametric scales with verbal descriptions. Findings revealed that the improvised logic gates simulator is highly acceptable in terms of its cost and availability of components,?design and construction,operations, and troubleshooting features. It is concluded that the improvised logic gates simulator is at par in terms of standards on instructional devices based on the evaluation results of experts and is therefore recommended to be used in basic digital electronics instruction. The simulator is an innovative answer and an alternate solution to the scarcity of instructional materials and devices at Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus.

    • 摘要: This paper provides a new method for designing the load of transmitters switch components on provincial radar test platform. Based on the calculation of the specific parameters related to the actual charge switch components, the load-related data model is obtained, the simulation is carried out, and the results are consistent with the actual test results. Through the theoretical numerical analysis of the load of the charging switch components of the transmitter device in the new generation of weather radar maintenance test platform, radar maintenance personnel at all levels can deepen the thorough understanding of the CINRAD/SA transmitter and have some enlightenment and improvement on the maintenance guarantee ability of the new generation of weather radar.

    • 摘要: A finite element modeling technique is employed in this paper to predict the force transmissibility of tire-cavity-wheel assembly under a free-fixed condition. The tire and wheel force transmissibility is factor in structure borne road noise performance. In order to improve structure borne noise, it is required to lower the 1st peak frequency of force transmissibility. This paper presents an application of finite element analysis modeling along with experimental verification to predict the force transmissibility of tire and wheel assembly. The results of finite element analysis for force transmissibility are shown to be in good agreement with the results from the indoor test. In order to improve structure borne noise, it is required to lower the 1st peak frequency of force transmissibility. And, the effect of the tire design parameters such as the density and modulus of a rubber and the cord stiffness on the force transmissibility is discussed. It is found that the prediction of the force transmissibility model using finite element analysis will be useful for the improvement of the road noise performance of passenger car tire.
