摘要： Background Parkinson’s disease(PD)is associated with perceived stigma and affects quality of life(QoL).Additional health conditions may influence these consequences of PD.Aims This study assessed the impact of health conditions on perceived stigma and QoL in persons with PD.We hypothesised that individuals with more health conditions would report more stigma and poorer QoL.We also examined the contributions of demographic and clinical characteristics to the correlations between health conditions and perceived stigma/QoL.Methods We identified 196 eligible participants from the Boston University Online Survey Study of Parkinson’s Disease and examined their health history,performance on multiple stigma measures,and scores on the 39-item Parkinson’s Disease Questionnaire assessing QoL.Results At least one health condition was reported by 79%of the sample,with a median of 2 and a range of 0–7 health conditions.More perceived stigma and poorer QoL were associated with thyroid disease,depression,anxiety,and the total number of health conditions.These correlations were related to younger age,less education,and earlier disease onset.Other health conditions(high blood pressure,back/leg surgery,headache,cancer/tumours,and heart disease)were not significantly correlated with stigma or QoL.Conclusions Having more health conditions,or thyroid disease,depression,or anxiety,was associated with more perceived stigma and poorer QoL,with younger age,less education,and earlier disease onset affecting the associations.It is important to consider the burden of health conditions and how they affect persons with PD with specific clinical characteristics.

摘要： Oral squamous cell carcinoma is a neoplasm that originates from the epithelial mucosa.It is usually more frequent between the fifth and sixth decades of life,and more than 90% of carcinomas of the oral cavity are squamous cell carcinoma.It is an invasive neoplasia with a significant recurrence rate;40% of patients present with metastases in the cervical lymph nodes at the time of diagnosis.The tumor invasion front is a characteristic of tumor growth,which can be infiltrative or noninvasive.The histopathological parameters examined include the number of mitoses,depth of the tumor,invasion pattern,degree of keratinization,and nuclear pleomorphism.For the pathologist,these parameters are routinely evaluated but are not reported to the treating physician in all cases,which we consider to be useful information when determining the therapeutic route.

摘要： Cell cycle is a fundamental process underlying growth and development in evolutionarily diverse organisms, including fungi. In human fungal pathogens, cell cycle control generally determines their life cycles, either in the environment or during infections.Thus, cell cycle components can potentially serve as important targets for the development of antifungal strategy against fungal infections. Here, in Cryptococcus neoformans, the most common cause of fatal fungal meningitis, we show that a previously uncharacterized B-type cyclin named Cbc1 is essential for both its infectious and sexual cycles. We reveal that Cbc1 coordinates various sexual differentiation and molecular processes, including meiosis. Especially, the absence of Cbc1 abolishes formation of sexual spores in C. neoformans, which are presumed infectious particles. Cbc1 is also required for the major Cryptococcus pathogenic attributes. Virulence assessment using the murine model of cryptococcosis revealed that the cbc1 mutant is avirulent.Together, our results provide an important insight into how C. neoformans employs shared cell cycle regulation to coordinate its infectious and sexual cycles, which are considered crucial for virulence evolution and the production of infectious spores.

摘要： 本发明公开了一种碳包覆LiFe1‑xCoxPO4锂离子电池正极材料及制备方法，利用可溶性三价铁盐、乙炔黑、可溶性铵盐，按照摩尔浓度比计，可溶性三价铁盐：乙炔黑：可溶性铵盐为0.9:0.21:0.7‑1：1：1，通过共沉淀反应后得到FePO4·2H2O‑C前驱体，通过FePO4·2H2O‑C前驱体与锂盐、钴盐及蔗糖高温反应，得到碳包覆LiFe1‑xCoxPO4复合材料，借助于本发明的上述技术方案，制备的碳包覆LiFe1‑xCoxPO4正极材料与纯相LiFePO4相比，具有更为优良的电化学性能；同时本发明方法制备工艺简单，操作方便，原料成本低，易于实现规模化工业生产。
