    • 摘要: The features of UMHexagon S algorithm are probed.Subsequently,a new algorithm is proposed which is called Fast Adaptive Hexagon Diamond Search(FAHDS).The new algorithm borrows ideas from center-biased feature of motion vector,and space-correlated feature and time-correlated feature of video.Furthermore,the hexagon template based on UMHexagon S is includ-ed in the new algorithm to judge motion state by using motion vectors of adjacent blocks and cor-related blocks in previous frame.The simulation result shows that the new algorithm reduces 29. 328% encoding time of UMHexagon S on the condition of the similar PSNR and bit rate.%本文讨论了 UMHexagon S 算法的优缺点,提出了一种快速自适应的六边形菱形搜索算法,该算法结合了运动矢量的中心偏置特性、视频的空间相关性和时间相关性.该算法改进了 UMHexagon S 算法的六边形模板,利用相邻块和前一帧的对应块的运动矢量来判断运动状态.仿真实验结果表明,与 UMHexagon S 算法相比,在信噪比和码率基本不变的前提下,本算法降低了29.328%的编码时间.

    • 摘要: H .264/AVC improves coding efficiency with the rate‐distortion optimization (RDO ) tech‐nique for the block mode decision ,but it also has high coding complexity .In this paper ,a fast inter mode decision method in P frames is researched .First ,block mode group decision is made based on the relationship between block modes and avg Jmotion .Then the modes rarely selected as the optimal mode with inter conditions are inactivated .The experimental results show that the proposed method provides about 57% encoding time savings on average without significant reduction in signal‐to‐noise ratio(SNR) and increase in rate .%H .264/AVC利用率失真优化(RDO)技术进行宏块模式选择,提高了编码效率,但大大增加了编码复杂度。文章研究了一种P帧编码的快速帧间模式选择算法,利用宏块模式与avg Jmotion之间的关系进行候选搜索块模式分类,再利用帧间条件对分类后的模式进行判决,排除不可能作为最佳模式的宏块模式。实验结果表明,在信噪比降低和码率增加可以忽略不计的情况下,该算法平均节省编码时间约57%。

    • 摘要: 针对现有H.264/AVC压缩域开环水印方法存在误差漂移及鲁棒性差的问题,分析了该类水印算法的特点及误差漂移机制,提出了一种无误差漂移的鲁棒视频水印算法.首先,基于视频重建过程,分析了开环回路水印方法的误差漂移机制,得到由水印信息造成的独立重建误差.然后,采用误差间的线性组合得到4个可以避免误差漂移的水印模板.最后,通过调制残差系数与相应水印模板之间的正负相关性,将水印嵌入在非零系数多的4×4子块上,而不像以往算法将水印直接添加在残差系数上.实验结果表明:所提算法造成的平均结构相似度下降在0.005以内;码率的增长在1.00%左右;对重量化转码、加性高斯白噪声、亮度调节等常见水印攻击,误码率均在0.15以下.得到的结果满足视频水印算法对透明性,码率稳定性,鲁棒性的要求.

    • 摘要: 智能设备的多样化,使不同设备的播放器在播放同一H.264/AVC视频时,需要针对显示器的分辨力先将解码图像进行缩放,再输出到显示器.而放大算法的复杂度往往会影响智能设备播放视频的实时性.针对这一问题,提出一种新的基于H.264/AVC视频解码图像的快速缩放方法.该方法的创新性在于将图像缩放操作和解码过程联系起来,并使缩放处理单位分解到宏块级,从而省去对特定的跳过模式宏块的缩放处理.实验表明,与传统方法相比,该方法在图像质量高度保真的情况下,对放大速度的提升可高达150%.

    • 摘要: The rate control algorithm that H.264/AVC proposed can not effectively deal with scene change,therefore,the quality of the decoding image of the scene change point will decline.To solve the problem effectively,an adaptive rate control algorithm to improve the image quality of the scene change point is proposed.The method of the difference of pixel gray value is used to detect the scene change sequence,and if the scene change is detected,the structure and length of group of picture (GOP) are dynamically changed for the redistribution of resources according to the position of the switching point in GOP.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the impact of the scene change on the image encoding quality.%H.264/AVC提出的码率控制算法不能有效处理场景切换,因此导致关于场景切换的解码图像质量下降.为了解决该问题,文章提出了一种自适应控制算法来提高场景切换点的图像质量,使用像素不同灰度值来检测场景切换序列,如果检测到场景切换,根据场景切换点在视频图像组(GOP)中的位置,动态地改变GOP结构和长度的资源再分配.结果表明,该算法可以有效减少场景切换对图像编码质量的影响.

    • 摘要: A bitstream-layer model for video coding distortion assessment is proposed to realize real-time quality monitoring for H. 264/AVC networked video. The model realizes real-time quality assessment for networked video without resorting to full decoding, but by simply analyzing the payload information such as the quantization parameters, bit-rate and motion vectors. Firstly, the relationship between the coding distortion and quantization parameters for different video sequences is modeled. Then, the quantization parameters and bit-rate are employed to predict the spatial complexities, and the motion vectors are employed to predict the temporal complexities. After empirical data analysis, a mathematical model for video quality assessment is established taking account of the spatial and temporal masking effect of the human visual system. Experimental results show the advanced performance of the proposed model. A comparison with the NR QANV-PA model shows that the proposed model gets an increment about 0. 016 0 in the Pearson Correlation Coefficient between the objective scores and mean opinion scores and a decrement about 0. 079 7 in the root mean square error.%为了实现对采用H.264/AVC标准编码的网络视频质量的实时监测,提出一种评估视频编码质量的比特流层模型.该模型无需完全解码,只通过简单解析视频的量化参数、编码比特率以及运动矢量等信息评估视频流质量.首先,通过主观评估实验分析确定量化参数与视频编码失真的基本关系模型,然后利用量化参数和编码比特率预测视频的空间复杂度,利用运动矢量信息预测视频的时间复杂度,并结合空域掩盖效应和时域掩盖效应建立起一个能够反映人视觉特性的视频质量评估模型.实验结果表明,与解析码流的无参考网络视频质量评估模型相比,利用该模型得到的客观质量分数与主观质量分数的皮尔森相关系数提高了0.0160,均方根误差下降了0.0797.

    • 摘要: 为实现移动终端中流媒体的实时流畅播放,针对H.264/AVC环路滤波算法的高复杂性及移动终端资源的有限性,提出一种环路滤波算法和屏幕显示的优化方法.结合Symbian平台自身的特点,利用寄存器存储速度优势及图像空间相关性,改进去块顺序及边界强度运算方法,采用双缓冲及直接屏幕访问技术对图像屏幕输出进行优化.实验结果表明,该方法能提高解码速度和屏幕流畅度.%In order to implement smooth playback of streaming media in real time by mobile terminals aiming at the high complexity of loop filtering in H.264/AVC and limited mobile terminals resource, this paper proposes a new approach for optimizing loop filtering algorithm and screen display. The improved method is put forward based on sequence of loop filtering and the calculation of boundary strength. The method can take full advantage of the storage speed advantage of register and spatial correlation of image, combining with the characteristics of Symbian platform, and the output image of screen is optimized with double buffering and direct screen access. Experimental results demonstrate that the approach not only can improve the speed of decoding, but also can make fluency of the screen better.

    • 摘要: This paper proposes an improved rate control algorithm for the basic-unit layer encoder of JVT-H017. Adopting a new weighted time and space model to predict the Mean Absolute Difference(MAD) and according to the Human Visual System(HVS) characteristic to design a weighted Y component of Peak Signal to Noise Ratio(PSNR), it recalculates the picture complexity of current basic-unit layer with the new MAD and PSNR, which highlights the importance of Y component compared to UV component, and then allocates target bits with above. Experimental results show that compared with the algorithms of JVT-H017, proposed algorithm is closer to the target bit, the average error rate reduces 0.269%. The average of PSNR raises 0.278 dB. The proposed algorithm still ensures the quality of the video after transporting in the 3G wireless channel.%提出一种改进的JVT-H017基本单元层码率控制算法.采用时空加权模型预测平均绝对差值(MAD),根据人类视觉系统特性设计加权Y分量的峰值信噪比(PSNR),联合新的MAD和PSNR估计基本单元层的复杂度,突出Y分量相对UV分量的重要性,并依此分配目标比特.实验结果显示,相比JVT-H017算法,改进算法更接近目标码率,码率误差平均降低0.269%,峰值信噪比平均提高0.278 dB,可保证具有误码的3G无线网络中视频图像的质量.

    • 摘要: 在H.264/AVC标准中,基于上下文的自适应可变长编码(CAVLC)解码算法的复杂度较高.为此,提出一种基于熵解码算法的新型熵解码器,在对视频压缩码流实现熵解码的过程中,引入并行处理方式,并改进二叉树法.通过采用QuartusⅡ7.2版环境波形仿真和FPGA硬件实现方法进行实验,结果表明该熵解码器在硬件资源节省和解码速度方面具有较好的性能.%The context-based adaptive variable length entropy decoding quoted in H.264/AVC video coding standard can greatly reduce data redundancy and improve the decoding efficiency, meanwhile the complexity of Context-based Adaptive Variable Length Coding(CAVLC) decoding . Is increased. In this paper, a rapid and effective new entropy decoder which is based on entropy decoding algorithm is proposed. The decoder realizes entropy decoding to video compression streaming. In this process, parallel processing way is imported, and binary tree method is improved. Waveform simulations for the proposed decoder in Quartus II 7.2 and hardware implementation using FPGA prove the correctness of the design for proposed entropy decoder, besides, the proposed decoder has better performance in savings in hardware resources and decoding speed.

    • 摘要: 在H.264/AVC标准中,去块滤波是提高图像质量和压缩效率有效手段,但其计算复杂度所占时间极大.在整个滤波过程中,边界强度(Bs)的计算复杂度的计算时间几乎占90%,在重点分析H.264的去块滤波的Bs判定准则之后,提出一种基于快速Bs判定的H.264去块滤波优化算法(FF算法).通过实验数据分析,FF算法能够有效地确保视频序列的编解码质量,并比JM中基准算法降低了近50%的Bs判定时间及近20%的滤波时间;与其他改进滤波算法相比也有自身优势,因此,FF算法能够有效地降低去块滤波中的计算复杂度,有助于视频序列实时传输的实现.%In the H.264/AVC standard, the de-blocking filtering is an effective way to improve the image quality and compression efficiency, but it contains a very high computational complexity. In the whole filtering process, the computation of the boundary strength (Bs) is the largest part, which is almost 90%. A new algorithm for H.264 de-blocking filter based on quick decision of Bs is proposed after analyzing the theory of Bs decision. The experimental data show that the FF algorithm is able to maintain the quality of codec video images, and compared with standard algorithm in JM, it can reduce nearly 50% of Bs decision time and nearly 20% of filtering time. Then, compared with any other improved filtering algorithms, it has its own advantages. Therefore, the FF algorithm can effectively decrease the computational complexity of de-blocking filter and can promote the realization of real-time transmission of video sequences.
