In Ghana, freight transport is growing continuously every year due to its location and business processes. However, road transport carries 86% of freight despite its numerous negative impacts. Hence, the government has invested in rail transport, with 70% of its capacity is for freight transport in her busy freight transport corridor (eastern transport regions of Ghana). Thus, awareness of criteria considered when deciding on freight transport becomes vital. Hence, this study aims to improve the understanding of the factors of freight transport mode selection in Ghana from the decision-making process by identifying criteria that affect their decisions on mode transportation. The combination of Fuzzy AHP and Topsis is used to find the weights and suggest suitable alternatives for the decision-makers in the Eastern transport regions of Ghana. The result of this study shows that the criteria to consider when selecting freight transport mode in the regions are prioritized in other of Transport cost (0.6544), transport Time factors (0.2562), reliability, and flexibility (0.0605), and security, Risk of damage and lose factors (0.0287). Additionally, the suitable mode(s) of transportation in the stated corridor is owned truck carrier transport compared to the railroad, road-barge, and Contracted Carrier, thus, in descending order. The results provide organizations to prioritize these factors when deciding to select freight transport mode. At the same time, the government must remove some inputs that result in high transport costs, enforce policies, and invest in the appropriate mode.

Healthcare supply chains are under pressure to drive down costs because of digital business,shifting customer needs and new competition.Medical waste generated from medical facilities includes medical activities and daily-life activities of patients and their family members.According to statistics of the Department of Health EnvironmentalManagement,Vietnam currently has more than 13,500 medical facilities,including hospitals from central to provincial and district levels and private hospitals and medical facilities.Preventive medicine generates about 590 tons of medical waste/day and is estimated to be about 800 tons/day.Medical waste includes ordinary medical waste and hazardous medical waste;in which ordinary medical waste accounts for about 80%–90%,only about 10%–20%is hazardous medical waste including infectious waste and non-infectious hazardous waste.This is an environmental and occupational health issue that needs attention in developing countries like Vietnam.Handling large amounts of medical waste to ensure environmental and personal hygiene,doing so inefficiently creates potential hazards to the environment and increases operating costs.However,hospitals lack objective criteria and methods to evaluate and select the most optimal infectious medical waste,relying instead on their own subjective assessment and prior experience.Therefore,the author proposed a fuzzy multicriteria decision making(MCDM)model including Fuzzy Analytic hierarchy process(FAHP)and the Weighted Aggregated Sum-Product Assessment(WASPAS)for infectious medical waste contractors’selection in this research.The proposed Fuzzy MCDM method is in-tended to provide a more efficient,accurate method in the selection of infectious medical waste contractors than subjective assessment methods,thus reduce potential risks to hospitals.The results of this study can be applied to evaluate and select contractors in other industries.

Regulatory authorities create a lot of legislation that must be followed.These create complex compliance requirements and time-consuming processes to find regulatory non-compliance.While the regulations establish rules in the relevant areas,recommendations and best practices for compliance are not generally mentioned.Best practices are often used to find a solution to this problem.There are numerous governance,management,and security frameworks in Information Technology(IT)area to guide businesses to run their processes at a much more mature level.Best practice maps can used to map another best practice,and users can adapt themselves by the help of this relation maps.These maps are created generally by an expert judgment or topdown relationship analysis.These methods are subjective and easily creates inconsistencies.In order to have an objective and statistical relationships map,we propose a Latent Semantic Analysis(LSA)based modal to generate a specific relatedness correlation map.We created a relatedness map of a banking regulation to a best practice.We analyzed 224 statements of this regulation in relation to Control Objectives for Information Technologies(Cobit)2019’s 1202 activities.Furthermore,we support our LSA results with MCDM analysis methods;Fuzzy Analytics Hierarchy Process(FAHP)to prioritize our criteria and,WASPAS(Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment Method)to compare similarity results of regulation and Cobit activity pairs.Instead of the subjective methods for mapping best practices and regulations,this study suggests creating relatedness maps supported by the objectivity of LSA.

Design architecture is the edifice that strengthens the functionalities as well as the security of web applications.In order to facilitate architectural security from the web application’s design phase itself,practitioners are now adopting the novel mechanism of security tactics.With the intent to conduct a research from the perspective of security tactics,the present study employs a hybrid multi-criteria decision-making approach named fuzzy analytic hierarchy process-technique for order preference by similarity ideal solution(AHP-TOPSIS)method for selecting and assessing multi-criteria decisions.The adopted methodology is a blend of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(fuzzy AHP)and fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity ideal solution(fuzzy TOPSIS).To establish the efficacy of this methodology,the results are obtained after the evaluation have been tested on fifteen different web application projects(Online Quiz competition,Entrance Test,and others)of the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University,Lucknow,India.The tabulated outcomes demonstrate that the methodology of the Multi-Level Fuzzy Hybrid system is highly effective in providing accurate estimation for strengthening the security of web applications.The proposed study will help experts and developers in developing and managing security from any web application design phase for better accuracy and higher security.

Usability and security are often considered contradictory in nature.One has a negative impact on the other.In order to satisfy the needs of users with the security perspective,the relationship and trade-offs among security and usability must be distinguished.Security practitioners are working on developing new approaches that would help to secure healthcare web applications as well increase usability of the web applications.In the same league,the present research endeavour is premised on the usable-security of healthcare web applications.For a compatible blend of usability and security that would fulfill the users’requirments,this research proposes an integration of the Fuzzy AHP-TOPSIS method for assessing usable-security of healthcare web applications.Since the estimation of security-usability accrately is also a decision making problem,the study employs Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis(MCDA)for selecting the most decisive attributes of usability as well as security.Furthermore,this study also pinpoints the highest priority attributes that can strengthen the usable-security of the healthcare web applications.The effectiveness of the suggested method has been tested on the healthcare web applications of local hospitals in Mecca,Saudi Arabia.The results corroborate that Fuzzy AHP-TOPSIS is indeed a reliable technique that will help the developers to design a healthcare web applications that delivers optimum usable-security.

The World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11,2020 stating that it is a worldwide danger and requires imminent preventive strategies to minimise the loss of lives.COVID-19 has now affected millions across 211 countries in the world and the numbers continue to rise.The information discharged by the WHO till June 15,2020 reports 8,063,990 cases of COVID-19.As the world thinks about the lethal malady for which there is yet no immunization or a predefined course of drug,the nations are relentlessly working at the most ideal preventive systems to contain the infection.The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia(KSA)is additionally combating with the COVID-19 danger as the cases announced till June 15,2020 reached the count of 132,048 with 1,011 deaths.According to the report released by the KSA on June 14,2020,more than 4,000 cases of COVID-19 pandemic had been registered in the country.Tending to the impending requirement for successful preventive instruments to stem the fatalities caused by the disease,our examination expects to assess the severity of COVID-19 pandemic in cities of KSA.In addition,computational model for evaluating the severity of COVID-19 with the perspective of social influence factor is necessary for controlling the disease.Furthermore,a quantitative evaluation of severity associated with specific regions and cities of KSA would be a more effective reference for the healthcare sector in Saudi Arabia.Further,this paper has taken the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)technique for quantitatively assessing the severity of COVID-19 pandemic in cities of KSA.The discoveries and the proposed structure would be a practical,expeditious and exceptionally precise evaluation system for assessing the severity of the pandemic in the cities of KSA.Hence these urban zones clearly emerge as the COVID-19 hotspots.The cities require suggestive measures of health organizations that must be introduced on a war footing basis to counter the pandemic.The analysis tabulated in our study will assist in mapping the rules and building a systematic structure that is immediate need in the cities with high severity levels due to the pandemic.

In the recent years,the booming web-based applications have attracted the hackers’community.The security risk of the web-based hospital management system(WBHMS)has been increasing rapidly.In the given context,the main goal of all security professionals and website developers is to maintain security divisions and improve on the user’s confidence and satisfaction.At this point,the different WBHMS tackle different types of security risks.In WBHMS,the security of the patients’medical information is of utmost importance.All in all,there is an inherent security risk of data and assets in the field of the medical industry as a whole.The objective of this study is to estimate the security risk assessment of WBHMS.The risks assessment pertains to securing the integrity of the information in alignment with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.This includes protecting the relevant financial records,as well as the identification,evaluation,and prevention of a data breach.In the past few years,according to the US-based cyber-security firm Fire-eye,6.8 million data thefts have been recorded in the healthcare sector in India.The breach barometer report mentions that in the year 2019,the data breaches found were up to 48.6%as compared to the year 2018.Therefore,it is very important to assess the security risk in WBHMS.In this research,we have followed the hybrid technique fuzzy analytic hierarchy process-technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution(F-AHPTOPSIS)approach to assess the security risk in WBHMS.The place of this empirical database is at the local hospital of Varanasi,U.P.,India.Given the affectability of WBHMS for its board framework,this work has used diverse types of web applications.The outcomes obtained and the procedure used in this assessment would support future researchers and specialists in organizing web applications through advanced support of safety and security.

[目的]近年来,随着人们生活水平提高,消费观念改变以及住所搬迁频繁,废弃木家具逐渐成为城市垃圾处理的负担,废弃木家具回收是家具制造企业承担社会责任、节约成本和促进利润增长的重要途径,如何构建与企业实力相匹配的废弃木家具回收模式,正成为家具行业亟需解决的问题.[方法]结合废弃木家具回收逆向物流链的特点,分别构建了家具制造企业主导、家具零售企业主导、第三方回收企业主导和战略联盟式的四种回收模式,并进行了优劣势比较分析.以家具制造企业回收综合效益最高为总体目标,从财务、管理、技术和服务四个维度构建了废弃木家具回收处理模式的评价指标体系,并运用模糊综合层次分析法(Fuzzy-AHP)进行了案例求解.[结果]一级指标因素的权重由大到小分别是财务因素(0.146 8)、管理因素(0.120 9)、技术因素(0.192 8)、服务因素(0.269 5).模糊向量计算的结果是第三方回收企业主导模式和战略联盟式模式为企业带来高效益的可能性比较大,分别是63.87%和69.07%.[结论]家具制造企业在选择回收模式时,优先考虑的是财务因素,其次是服务因素、技术因素和管理因素,在构建企业回收模式时,需要结合企业实际发展情况,模式并无绝对的好坏,这为家具制造企业回收处理废弃木家具提供重要的参考价值.家具制造行业日新月异的发展,消费者对于低碳化绿色化环保产品的要求越来越高,回收模式的研究也将有更进一步的发展.
