    • 摘要: Conjugated microporous polymers(CMPs) are a unique class of porous organic materials, which are constructed with π-conjugation structures leading to intrinsic micropores. The CMPs properties such as high surface area, intrinsic and rich micropores, interlocking and rigid structure, extensive π-conjugation and tunable band-gap, chemical and thermal stability, together with tailored functionalities, contribute to its abundant potential for application in fields such as photocatalysis, optoelectronics, energy storage, and chemical sensors. Recently, CMPs have gained importance in the field of membranes for chemical separation. In this review, we briefly discuss the historical development of CMPs, followed by a detailed description of the progress in state-of-the-art design, preparation, and application of CMPs in membranes. Additionally, we provide inference on the future prospects of CMPs as membranes.

    • 摘要: Pulsed chemical vapor deposition(P-CVD)is a promising technology for the surface modification of TiO_(2) particles.For the scale-up application of P-CVD,a custom-designed rotary reactor and corresponding coating process at room temperature was developed in the present work.The obtained SiO_(2)-coated TiO_(2) particles were characterized by various measures including high-resolution transmission electron microscope,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,etc.The results illustrated that the SiO_(2) films with a thickness of(3.7±0.7)nm were successfully deposited onto the surface of TiO_(2) particles.According to the dye degradation tests and acid solubility measurement,the deposited film can effectively inhibit the photocatalytic activity and enhance the weatherability of the TiO_(2) particles.Zeta potential measurements showed that the SiO_(2)-coated TiO_(2) is possible to be stably dispersed in the pH range of 6.9–11.6.The coating process made the whiteness of TiO_(2) particles decreased slightly but still sufficient(97.3±0.1)for application.Furthermore,the properties of the TiO_(2) particles coated by PCVD were compared with the particles coated by traditional wet chemical deposition.It is shown that the P-CVD can produce thinner but denser films with better photoactivity suppression performance.The developed coating process within the rotary reactor was proved practically feasible and convenient for the scale-up production of SiO_(2)-coated TiO_(2) via P-CVD.

    • 摘要: Thermal infrared camouflage technology has attracted increasing attention with the progress of infrared surveillance technologies.Inspired by honeycombs,a thermal infrared camouflage film with honeycomb sandwich structure based on fluid and temperature control is proposed to cloak objects and display false targets in the thermal infrared spectrum.The structure and manufacturing method of the film are introduced,and the fluid and temperature control system is established and tested to explore the thermal infrared characteristics of the film composed of different thermal units.The camouflage performance of the film is intuitively displayed through the temperature frequency histograms of the infrared images photographed by an infrared camera.The temperature control accuracy of the thermal infrared camouflage system and the dynamic camouflage response of the film are evaluated by the temperature distribution map of each pixel in infrared images and the salient degree values.Furthermore,the influential factors on the camouflage responding time are investigated,including the heating and cooling time of the liquid,the flow rate of pumps inside the driving module,and the energy loss along the liquid lines.An application of displaying false target is also introduced and tested.The results show that the camouflage film has a well camouflage effect and a wide adjustment temperature range,showing promise for a broad range of potential applications,such as counter-surveillance,thermal control and heat shielding.

    • 摘要: Four participatory video research projects were undertaken over eight years with two Indigenous communities displaced by a flood. The films focus on how floodwaters were diverted away from non-Indigenous regions to Indigenous communities at Lake St. Martin by Canada’s colonial government. This displacement repeats the colonial pattern of forcibly relocating Indigenous people away from their land, resources, and good life. This participatory video research of flood stories underwent a content, process, and outcome analysis. The environmental, social, cultural, health and economic impacts are documented in the films, including poverty, environmental injustice, gang predation, separation of families, food insecurity, illness, culture loss, addictions, and racism. The films captured the lived experience of Elders, youth and, families during their eight years of displacement to temporary, unsuitable accommodations and upon relocation. In terms of process, community members engaged in filming, scriptwriting, and narrating to tell their stories. The process was transformative, decolonizing, and built community research capacity. The participatory video research was helpful for lawyers advocating for compensation. The popularity of the videos online exceeded that of academic papers and helped fuel a movement to wake people to the ongoing colonial injustices faced by Indigenous people across Canada. This paper not only analyzes the films but traces the roots of Indigenous displacement by man-made flooding to the Indian Act and colonization, calling for abolishing the Indian Act and decolonization.
