摘要： Dear editor,Lemierre’s syndrome was first described in detail by AndréLemierre in 1936 as infectious thrombophlebitis of the internal jugular vein(IJV).[1]In the current case,the pathogen was confirmed by next-generation sequencing(NGS).After proper use of antibiotics,the patient recovered and was discharged.

摘要： Dear editor,Due to visual impairment and lack of social attention,the reading problem of the blind has not been well resolved.Many existing Braille reading devices still have many problems and are not accepted by the public.This paper developed a portable Braille reading system based on electrotactile display technology.The proposed system is composed of a six-channel electrotactile stimulator,a flexible electrode array for Braille display and a graphical user interface(GUI)for monitoring and control.Based on the flexibility of the system,two Braille reading strategies have been designed:spatial mode and sequential mode.The system was preliminary tested by six sighted subjects.The results showed that subjects were able to recognize Braille characters with more than 80%accuracy within less than 10 seconds for the initial use.Compared to existing Braille reading systems,this system is portable,wearable and flexible in control.

摘要： Dear editor,In this letter,we use a distributed optimization approach to solve a class of multi-robot formation problem with virtual reference center.We investigate the design and analysis of the constrained consensus algorithm to solve the optimization problem with a sum of objective functions with some local constraints.In the multi-robot system with virtual reference center,each robot has messages on its own constraints and objective function,as well as the message about the formation that interacts with the virtual reference center.At the same time,all the robots collaborate to find the minimum value of the function defined by the formation.To find the optimal formation,we propose an algorithm with fixed step size with better performance.In addition,we use a combination of the Hungarian assignment algorithm and the proposed formation algorithm to get the optimal matching formation of the multi-robot system.

摘要： Dear editor,Regional precipitation,as a very important component system of hydrology,plays a key role in the whole water cycle[1].The dramatic changes of regional precipitation in a short period can easily have a serious impact on the local ecological environment and daily life.Short-term heavy precipitation refers to precipitation events with rainfall of more than 20 mm in one hour or 50 mm in three hours[2].Therefore,how to accurately and timely predict future precipitation is an important research field in meteorology.However,precipitation prediction has always been a challenging task because of its complex spatial and temporal dependence.

摘要： Dear editor,Most superior mesenteric artery (SMA) dissections occuralongwithaorticdissections;isolatedSMA dissectionsarerare(incidencerateof0.06%).[1] A diagnosis of SMA dissection is generally made using contrast-enhancedcomputedtomography(CECT);however, bedside point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS)may hasten the process. Herein, we present a case series of isolated SMA dissections that were suspected and confirmed using POCUS and CECT, respectively.
