    • 摘要: A living female specimen of black fly was collected on a livestock ship Singaporean flag,which came from Port of Portland,Victoria,Australia at quarantine anchorage of Qinhuangdao Port,China on May 2,2014.This female species is placed in the subgenus Morops of genus Simulium based on the peculliar morphological characteristics of the pleural membrane,katepisternum and the basal portion of the wing's radius haired and claw with a small tooth.Because of no pupal exuviae and cocoon,and the relevant identify references available,the specimen was not named.The morphological description of the female specimen is presented to assist with the future researches.The specimen is kept in the Medical Entomology Collection Gallery,Academy of Military Medical Sciences,Beijing,China.The species of subgenus Morops of genus Simulium are found at the southeast districts of Australia,where the ship came from,and distributed in Oceania,the islands of South Pacific,Indonesia,Philippines and Japan up to now.The entry ship loaded with living animals is at high risks to carry introduced blackflies and other biting vectors into naive country,and more attention should be paid on them.%2014年5月2日在秦皇岛港检疫锚地停泊的一艘来自澳大利亚维多利亚州的波特兰大港的运载进口奶牛的入境船舶新加坡籍“吉布雷快车”(M.V.GELBRAY EXPRESS)轮上采获一只活的输入性蚋类雌虫.经鉴定,根据该蚋虫标本的中胸侧膜、中胸下侧片及翅径脉基部具毛和爪基齿等形态结构,符合蚋属Morops亚属的特征.因仅采获一只蚋类雌虫,且无蛹的标本,因此,未定种名,暂命名为蚋属Morops亚属未定种.现将该蚋类雌虫的形态学特征予以描述,以供研究参考.标本保存于军事科学院军事医学研究院医学昆虫标本馆.蚋属Morops亚属的蚋类最早发现于澳大利亚东南部地区,分布于大洋洲和南太平洋诸岛以及印度尼西亚、菲律宾和日本等地.而该轮始发港澳大利亚的波特兰大港即位于澳大利亚东南部地区,所装载的奶牛也来自附近区域.我们应高度重视入境船舶特别是运载动物的入境船舶携带输入性蚋类等病媒生物入侵的危害,确保国门生物安全.

    • 摘要: Blackflie (Diptera:Simuliidae),the vector of the causal agent of human onchocerciasis and the second leading cause of infectious blindness,is an important medical and veterinary insect.It is difficult to use traditional taxonomy based on morphology for rapid and accurate identification because of structural homogeneity in blackflies.DNA barcoding,an emerging organism identification method,has been widely used in blackflies for higher sensitivity,accuracy and objectivity.This paper reviews the appearance and development of DNA barcoding in blackflies.Meanwhile,the methods and key questions of DNA barcoding to identify blacklies are also discussed.%蚋是一种重要的医学与畜牧学昆虫,是人类盘尾丝虫病和河盲症的传播媒介.不同种类的蚋在形态学上表现出高度的相似性,难以用传统形态学方法进行快速准确鉴定.DNA条形码技术作为一门新兴的物种鉴定方法以其灵敏、精确、方便和客观的优势,在蚋科昆虫的分类鉴定中已经得到广泛应用.本文通过介绍DNA条形码的产生、发展和研究现状,探讨其在蚋科昆虫鉴定中应用的技术方法路线,并对DNA条形码技术在蚋科分类研究中的应用前景进行了展望.

    • 摘要: Objective:To culture primary cells of blackfly eggs( embryos)and analyze their karyo-type. Methods:The tissue block method was applied to treat the blackfly eggs( embryos)from Simu-lium( Wilhelmia)xingyiense that were collected in field. The blackfly eggs( embryos)were cultured in the modified Schneider′s and Sang M3 medium at pH 6 . 0~6 . 5 ,and incubated in a biochemical in-cubator at 28°C. The primary cells in the mitotic and proliferative phase were selected and treated with colchicine,and their metaphase chromosomes were prepared for karyotype analysis. Results:The pro-metaphase chromosomes are 3 pairs( 2 n=6 ),which were not aggregated at a maximum degree and showed themselves long rhabditiform,and the length of chromosome is 9. 43~13. 58 μm. Metaphase chromosome was 3 pairs( 2 n =6 ),and which were highly aggregated and showed themselves short rhabditiform,and the length of chromosome was 2. 43~4. 67 μm. Two metaphase chromosomes′arm ratio is less than 1. 67,belonging tocentric chromosome,and the 4 chromosomes′arm ratio is more than 1. 67,belonging to the submetacentric chromosome. Conclusions:The karyotype characteristics of primary cells cultured from the blackfly eggs( embryos)of Simulium( Wi. )xingyiense were prelimina-rily elucidated in this study.%目的:分析兴义维蚋蚋卵(胚胎)原代培养细胞核型。方法:应用组织块法处理野外采集兴义维蚋蚋卵(胚胎),以改良Shields and Sang M3为基础培养基,pH 6.0~6.5,置于28°C生化恒温培养箱中进行原代细胞培养,选取10个处于有丝分裂增殖时期的细胞,通过秋水仙素处理,制作中期染色体标本,进行核型分析。结果:显微镜下观察,前中期染色体为3对(2n=6),染色体凝集程度未达最大化呈现长杆状,染色体长度为9.43~13.58μm;中期染色体为3对(2n=6),高度凝集呈现短杆状,染色体长度为2.43~4.67μm,两条中期染色体臂比值1.67,属亚中着丝粒染色体。结论:初步阐析了兴义维蚋蚋卵(胚胎)原代培养细胞核型特征。

    • 摘要: Objective:To identify blackfly species with combined data of DNA barcodes and morpho-logical characteristics. Methods:Blackflies were collected with a vehicle-mounted trap on July to Sep-tember of 2014 at Leishan,Jiangkou,Dejiang,Guanling,and Kaiyang counties in Guizhou Province, and preliminary morphological identification was performed. Female simulium DNA barcode sequence was detected. Barcode of Life Data Systems( BOLD)and phylogenetic analysis methods were adopted to identify blackfly species. Results:It was preliminarily determined that the threshold value of K2P distance in differentiating Simulium blackfly species and 153 Simulium( Gomphostilbia)asakoae indi-viduals were identified with BOLD and the threshold value. Conclusion:S. ( G. )asakoae is a new record of blackfly,distributing at Leishan,Jiangkou,Dejiang,Guanling,and Kaiyang in Guizhou Province.%目的:综合利用DNA条形码序列和形态学特征鉴定蚋种。方法:利用车载式捕虫网于2014年7~9月在贵州省雷山、江口、德江、关岭和开阳5县采集蚋类标本,并进行初步的形态学鉴定;测定雌蚋DNA条形码序列,利用生命数据条形码系统( BOLD )及系统发育分析方法鉴定蚋种。结果:初步确定划分蚋属下蚋种的K2P距离阈值为4%,利用该阈值及生命数据条形码系统鉴定153只雌蚋为麻子绳蚋。结论:麻子绳蚋为贵州省蚋类新记录,分布于雷山、江口、德江、关岭和开阳5县。

    • 摘要: A new species, Simulium (Simulium) nanyangense sp.nov.is described based on the female, and pupal stages, specimens collected from Nanyang, He'nan Province, China.It is assigned to the malyschevi-group of the subgenus Simulium, and is closely related to S.( S.) jacuticum Rubtsov, 1956, S.( S.) hirtipannus Puri, 1932 and S.(S.) spiculum Chen, Huang et Yang, 2010.However it is clearly differentiated from them by the claws simple in the female and cocoon without window .%本文记述河南省蚋属Simulium蚋亚属subgenus Simulium一新种,南阳蚋S.( Simulium) nangyangense sp.nov.该蚋与S.( S.) jacuticum Rubtsov 1940, S.( S.) hirtipannus Puri,1932, S.( S.) spiculus Chen, Huang et Yang ,2010蚋相似,但是,该新种的爪无基齿,茧无孔窗,腹部腹面第七节无分叉毛,与其他种有明显不同。模式标本保存在北京军事医学科学院医学昆虫标本馆。

    • 摘要: New species Simulium ( Nevermannia ) liaodongense sp. Nov was discovered in tidy up of black flies specimens from Liaoning Province, China. This new species seems belonging to species unplaced to group.Holotype ♀ , paratype 11 ♀ ♀ , 15 ♂ ♂ , 26 pupae with skins and 63 larvae. They are collected from Gangshan, Xinbin County, Liaoning Province, June 5, 1992.%本文介绍纺蚋亚属Simulium (Nevermannia) 一新种,辽东纺蚋S.(N.) liaodongense sp.nov.本文对其两性成虫、蛹和幼虫进行形态描述.

    • 摘要: 对内蒙古2属4亚属7蚋种rDNA—ITS1长度及序列变异进行分析。陆氏后克蚋和长鞭纺蚋的ITS1长340nt左右。宽跗副布蚋、辽宁蚋、内蒙蚋、纳克蚋和红头厌蚋的ITS1长约100nt。陆氏后克蚋的ITS1长度。可作为将后克蚋属归为蚋族的一个佐证。宽跗副布蚋的ITS1序列与近来LaRue等提出的蚋类ITS1存在由8个短保守区构成的39nt核心的这一结论仅部分相符,提示该结论的适用范围有一定限制。%A sample of 7 species from Inner Mongolia spread over two genera four subgenera is used to perform a length and sequence variability study of the internal transcribed spacer 1 ( ITS1 ) of rDNA. ITS1 of Metacnephia lui and Simulium (Neverrnannia) longiflageUum have a length of about 340 nt, those orS. (Boophthora) erythroceph- ala, S. ( Parabyssodon) transiens, S. ( S. ) leimonses, S. ( S. ) liaoningense and S. ( S. ) nacojapi about 100 nt. The ITS1 length of M. lui can be evidence to support the opinion that genus Metacnephia belongs to tribe Simuliini. Sequence of ITS1 of S. (P.) transiens is partially corresponded with a conclusion about core sequence in ITS1 of black fly proposed in 2009 by LaRue et al. who derived that there existed a 39 nt common core composed of eight short conserve blocks. This indicates that LaRue' s generalization has a limited application to Simuliidae itself.
    • 摘要: 据生物通网2011年11月14日报道,近日中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所王博博士、张海春研究员等首次在抚顺琥珀中发现双翅目蛾蚋科昆虫。同时发现,与昆虫伴生的还有孢粉、有壳变形虫等微体化石。该成果发表于近期的《古生物学杂志》,详细总结了中国主要琥珀产地以及蛾蚋科的Trichomyiinae亚科昆虫化石记录。
