In order to investigate the application of soft magnetic composite(SMC)material in permanent magnet brushless motor(PMBM),a comparative research on the laminated silicon-steel motor,the three-dimensional(3D)magnetic-circuit SMC motor and the 2D magnetic-circuit SMC motor was carried out. Moreover,taking into account of the fact that it is difficult to make initial design on the SMC-3D motor by utilizing commercially used software, a 2D equivalent magnetic circuit design method was proposed. Firstly,a comparative performance test in terms of magnetization and iron loss characteristics with regard to SMC and 50TW600 laminated silicon-steel testing block were carried out.Then,based on the testing results,a comparative research on the three motors was performed.To implement the initial design and a-nalysis of the SMC-3D motor,a study on the equivalence between SMC-2D and SMC-3D motor was also conducted.At last,a prototype of the SMC-3D PMBM was manufactured and experimented,and experi-mental results verify the feasibility of SMC-3D motor.%为了研究软磁复合材料(SMC)在永磁无刷电机中的应用,对叠压硅钢电机、SMC三维磁路结构电机、SMC二维磁路结构电机进行了对比,同时针对基于SMC的三维磁路结构电机难以采用通用的商用软件进行初始设计的问题,提出一种二维磁路等效设计方法.首先对SMC 试块及50TW600叠压硅钢试块进行了磁化特性及铁耗的对比性能测试,其次,基于试块测试结果,对三种电机进行了对比研究,接着,鉴于SMC三维磁路电机的结构复杂性,对其与SMC二维磁路结构电机的等效性进行研究,以方便SMC三维磁路电机的初始分析设计,最后,对SMC三维磁路结构电机进行了样机试制和实验,证明了SMC三维磁路结构电机的可行性.
