    • 摘要: China’s first carbon dioxide(CO_(2))measurement satellite mission,TanSat,was launched in December 2016.This paper introduces the first attempt to detect anthropogenic CO_(2) emission signatures using CO_(2) observations from TanSat and NO_(2) measurements from the TROPOspheric Monitoring Instrument(TROPOMI)onboard the Copernicus Sentinel-5 Precursor(S5P)satellite.We focus our analysis on two selected cases in Tangshan,China and Tokyo,Japan.We found that the TanSat XCO_(2) measurements have the capability to capture the anthropogenic variations in the plume and have spatial patterns similar to that of the TROPOMI NO_(2) observations.The linear fit between TanSat XCO_(2) and TROPOMI NO_(2) indicates the CO_(2)-to-NO_(2) ratio of 0.8×10^(-16) ppm(molec cm^(-2))^(-1) in Tangshan and 2.3×10^(-16) ppm(molec cm^(-2))^(-1) in Tokyo.Our results align with the CO_(2)-to-NOx emission ratios obtained from the EDGAR v6 emission inventory.

    • 摘要: Is GI(Green Infrastructure)viable to mitigate urban pluvial flood caused by extreme storm events?Limited research and planning have been undertaken in recent years,but little practice has been found in the real world.This retrospective study provides an example of mitigating pluvial flood by LID(Low Impact Development)principal and practices and transforming an old,ultra-dense low-income community into a climate change resilient community.The key findings include keeping flood control in mind when designing GI in the beginning;mimicking the sites’hydrologic characteristics as much as possible;outreaching to residences for maintenance issues from the beginning and monitoring the performance of GI facilities continuously.Technically,bioretention growing media with higher infiltration rate is specified that must be great than 150 mm/h in short term and 80 mm/h for long term;this paper chose low maintenance permeable pavement products avoiding clogging;and increasing parking space without compromising the design goals.

    • 摘要: Landuse/Landcover(LULC)changes are recognised as some of the major causes of environmental problems like land degradation and climate change.To achieve sustainability,we need to properly understand such changes in order to have adequate information that will enable us to design and implementing measures to mitigate their negative impacts.Doing this particularly requires a proper understanding of how stakeholders perceive the changes in general and their drivers in particular.Unfortunately,not much is known for many areas about the perspective of landuse stakeholders on drivers of LULC changes.This paper reports the results of a study conducted to examine the perceptions of different landuse stakeholders on drivers of LULC changes in Abuja Federal Capital Territory,Nigeria.Questionnaire survey was utilised,involving 514 households across four settlements,2 rural(Karshi and Orozo)and 2 urban(Nyanya and Karu)towns in the territory,which were complimented with Focus Group Discussions were conducted.The results obtained showed that urban dwellers are largely aware of drivers of changes in socio-economic drivers(physical development on lands,more commercial complex development and more institutional development).Rural dwellers are largely aware of environmental drivers of LULC changes(bush burning,livestock overgrazing,collections of wood and medicinal plants,and agricultural expansion).It was concluded that there is the need to bring about a harmonisation of the perceptions of LULC change drivers by the rural and urban dwellers so as to bring about a common front understanding and responding to LULC changes in the study area.

    • 摘要: The main objective of the work is to search for relevant indicators for assessing the impact of waste on water quality and their contribution to climate change. The leaching test applied allowed accelerated access to the water-soluble material that can be mobilized in the various fractions of household and similar waste from the city of Sokodé, a material that can be salted out by leaching and leaching processes in nature. It has thus made it possible to evaluate the reactivity of the waste by promoting access to the composition and the quality of the released organic matter and to facilitate a follow-up of the recovery of the biological activity over a period of 120 hours. The study of physicochemical quality of the waters of Kpondjo River has shown a link between the deterioration of the quality of the river's water and the manner of waste management. The 17541 m3 of methane generated by sludge from slaughterhouses and fermentable fractions of solid waste, could contribute to climate change. Indeed, a composting valorization of biodegradable fraction of solid waste that is generated in this town would reduce the methane produced by this waste and thus help to reduce global warming trends.

    • 摘要: Restoration and protection of ancient towns is an essential approach and a material carrier of inheriting cultural context,realizing economic transformation,revitalizing the tertiary industry,building a strong county and making a better life for peoples.This paper took Ancient Luanzhou Town in Luanzhou City,Tangshan of Hebei for example,used Photoshop to compare different elements of the town in pictures taken from Baidu Street View in 2014 and 2016,and calculated weights and scores of different elements using yaahp software.Based on this,the paper analyzed the space development tendency of Ancient Luanzhou Town,evaluated the changes of its space quality,and proposed suggestions for the improvement of space quality.

    • 摘要: [Objectives]The paper was to explore the spatio-temporal evolution of habitat quality in inland ecosystem.[Methods]Using landscape pattern analysis and InVEST habitat quality model,the land use change,landscape pattern and habitat quality change in Yunnan Province from 1980 to 2020 were studied.[Results]The land use change in Yunnan Province was relatively stable,and the forest land area accounted for 57.2%of the total area.The landscape fragmentation index caused by artificial surface encroachment on ecological land was increased by 6.33%,and the landscape heterogeneity was enhanced to varying degrees.The mean patch area was decreased by 5.83%,the number of patches was increased by 6.29%,and the degree of fragmentation was deepened.The habitat quality in Yunnan Province showed a"high-low-high"distribution from northwest to southeast,and the overall habitat quality was above the average.It is necessary to formulate optimization strategies to improve the regional ecological environment and realize the ecological system protection and rational land use in Yunnan Province.[Conclusions]The results will provide a scientific reference for regional ecological protection construction and land use planning in Yunnan Province.
