摘要:
太赫兹波空间传输特性研究对于太赫兹波在空间中的应用具有重要意义.为研究太赫兹波在沙尘暴天气中的传输特性,本文根据沙尘粒子尺度的对数正态分布,应用Mie散射理论和Monte Carlo方法,分析了国内不同地域的六种干沙模态沙尘暴对1—10 THz频段太赫兹波的衰减特性,给出了消光参量和衰减率与频率的关系.结果表明,随着频率的增大,1—10 THz频段太赫兹波的衰减率呈先增加后减小的趋势,沙尘暴的模态不同,太赫兹波衰减较强的频段范围有所不同.为了分析沙粒含水量对太赫兹波传输衰减的影响,计算了不同尺寸的沙尘粒子3个效率因子与含水量的关系,发现粒子尺寸不同,含水量对消光的影响也不同;应用Monte Carlo方法计算了两种湿沙模态的沙尘暴对1—10 THz频段太赫兹波的衰减,给出了衰减率与含水量及频率的关系.结果表明,随沙粒含水量增大,沙尘暴对太赫兹波衰减较强的频段向低频方向移动,含水量小于5%时,太赫兹波衰减率随含水量增大显著增强,湿度较大的沙尘暴天气对太赫兹波的传输衰减影响更大.

In diffusion Monte Carlo methods, depending on the geometry continuous diffusion can be simulated in many ways such as walk-on-spheres (WOS), walk-on-planes (WOP), walk-on-rectangles (WOR) and so on. The diffusion ways are conformally the same satisfying the Laplace equation with the given boundary geometry. In this paper, using the WOP and the conformal map, we sample the WOS diffusion and show that the indirect sampling is more efficient than the direct WOS sampling. This signifies that fast diffusion Monte Carlo sampling via conformal map can be possible.

Soil shear wave velocity has been recognized as a governing parameter in the assessment of the seismic response of slopes.The spatial variability of soil shear wave velocity can influence the seismic response of sliding mass and seismic displacements.However,most analyses of sliding mass response have been carried out by deterministic models.This paper stochastically investigates the effect of random heterogeneity of shear wave velocity of soil on the dynamic response of sliding mass using the correlation matrix decomposition method and Monte Carlo simulation(MCS).The software FLAC 7.0 along with a Matlab code has been utilized for this purpose.The influence of statistical parameters on the seismic response of sliding mass and seismic displacements in earth slopes with different inclinations and stiffnesses subject to various earthquake shakings was investigated.The results indicated that,in general,the random heterogeneity of soil shear modulus can have a notable impact on the sliding mass response and that neglecting this phenomenon could lead to underestimation of sliding deformations.

With increasing complexity of today’s electromagnetic problems, the need and opportunity to reduce domain sizes, memory requirement, computational time and possibility of errors abound for symmetric domains. With several competing computational methods in recent times, methods with little or no iterations are generally preferred as they tend to consume less computer memory resources and time. This paper presents the application of simple and efficient Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method to the Laplace’s equation in axisymmetric homogeneous domains. Two cases of axisymmetric homogeneous problems are considered. Simulation results for analytical, finite difference and MCMC solutions are reported. The results obtained from the MCMC method agree with analytical and finite difference solutions. However, the MCMC method has the advantage that its implementation is simple and fast.

The goal of this study is to provide a stochastic method to investigate the eff ects of the randomness of soil properties due to their natural spatial variability on the response spectra spatial variation at sites with varying conditions. For this purpose, Monte Carlo Simulations are used to include the variability of both incident ground motion and soil parameters in the response spectra by mean of an appropriate coherency loss function and a site-dependent transfer function, respectively. The approach is built on the assumption of vertical propagation of SH type waves in soil strata with uncertain parameters. The response spectra are obtained by numerical integration of the governing equation of a single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) system under non-stationary site-dependent and spatially varying ground motion accelerations simulated with non-uniform spectral densities and coherency loss functions. Numerical examples showed that randomness of soil properties signifi cantly aff ects the amplitudes of the response spectra, indicating that as the heterogeneity induced by the randomness of the parameters of the medium increases, the spectral ordinates attenuate.

In this article, a model based on Glauber Monte Carlo is built to simulate the procedure of jet quenching in Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). In this model, energy loss of jets in QGP is parametrized by two quantities: path length of jets in QGP, L, and the initial transverse momentum of the jet PT. The path length of each branch of the jet are labeled L1 and L2. As input data, original jet energy data of p + p collisions were obtained from CMS measurement. After being processed by our model, simulated Pb + Pb jet energy data could be given and were compared to the data of ATLAS’s measurement in Ref. [1]. Distributions of (1/N)dN/dxJ? where?xJ=PT2/PT1, also noted as “frequency”, are presented as a function of PT1 and collision centrality. As the final result, two different forms of energy loss formula were found, both of which have good adaptation to certain centrality and PT ranges.

目的为了解决电商企业订单到达的不确定性和仓储运营的特殊性造成的人员配置不合理问题,提出一种构建基于订单预测和产线平衡为目标的Monte Carlo季节指数平滑和作业产能模型。方法应用概率统计方法解决信息不完全下订单预测问题。通过该方法对季节指数平滑法中的平滑系数进行优化,以修正预测模型,然后用Crystal ball软件对预测值进行产线调度优化。结果算例分析表明,使用该方法进行预测时,精度提高了45%,并将预测值用于拣选作业产能安排,确定了最优人员数量和工时分配方案。结论可以为电商类企业提供准确的订单预测信息,以及合理的作业人员配置方案,提高了企业的运行效率。

IMPT plans with various multi-angle beams were planned by the Varian Eclipse treatment planning system for one case of brain cancer. Dose distributions for each plan, along with the associated linear energy transfer distributions, were recomputed using an in-house fast Monte Carlo dose calculator with a FRBE of 1.1 or with a previously published VRBE model. We then compared dosimetric parameters obtained by the VRBE with those obtained by the FRBE. Biological doses obtained by the VRBE for the clinical target volume in all plans were 1% - 2% larger than those obtained by the FRBE. The minimum dose obtained by the VRBE for the right optic nerve in the MFO IMPT with 4 fields was 70% larger than that obtained by the FRBE, but the difference was only 18.1 cGy (RBE). The difference in maximum dose for the right optic nerve in the MFO IMPT with 5 fields was less than 10.4%, but the difference was 131.8 cGy (RBE). The mean difference in maximum dose was less than 2% for all other organs at risk. We found that biological dose with the FRBE had any dose errors in IMPT with various multi-angle beams.
