As a southwestern border province of China,Yunnan is featured by the geographical advantage of proximity to the Indo-China Peninsula which is known as World Rice Warehouse,and its capital and technology are ahead of the neighboring countries of China.Therefore,to enhance its support capability in consolidating and improving the national food security strategy,Yunnan should further develop its comparative advantages by building the regional food industry chain and supply chain depending on the province's grain system of production,processing,storage and transportation,as well as its agricultural economic and trade cooperation platforms and channels with the neighboring countries of China.In this study,comparative analysis and related methods were used to systematically analyze the scale of grain production in Yunnan,the proportion of its grain production to the national total amount,the transition of its grain variety structure and the characteristics of its food security system,as well as the grain export trade of the 6 countries in the Indo-China Peninsula from 2010 to 2019.Then,the problems in grain production in Yunnan were clarified,such as the decrease of grain ration production capacity,the decline of comparative benefits of grain production and the insufficient support for agricultural"going global"strategy.Finally,a series of countermeasures were put forward,including further implementing the strategy of"reserving grain in land and technology"to increase Yunnan's production capacity of grain,focusing on agricultural products storage and transportation system to improve the ability to obtain grain from abroad,expanding the border processing and logistics industry,optimizing the policy of agricultural products'import and export,and etc.

[Objectives]The paper was to explore the spatio-temporal evolution of habitat quality in inland ecosystem.[Methods]Using landscape pattern analysis and InVEST habitat quality model,the land use change,landscape pattern and habitat quality change in Yunnan Province from 1980 to 2020 were studied.[Results]The land use change in Yunnan Province was relatively stable,and the forest land area accounted for 57.2%of the total area.The landscape fragmentation index caused by artificial surface encroachment on ecological land was increased by 6.33%,and the landscape heterogeneity was enhanced to varying degrees.The mean patch area was decreased by 5.83%,the number of patches was increased by 6.29%,and the degree of fragmentation was deepened.The habitat quality in Yunnan Province showed a"high-low-high"distribution from northwest to southeast,and the overall habitat quality was above the average.It is necessary to formulate optimization strategies to improve the regional ecological environment and realize the ecological system protection and rational land use in Yunnan Province.[Conclusions]The results will provide a scientific reference for regional ecological protection construction and land use planning in Yunnan Province.

cqvip:Liparis aureolabella and L mengziensis,two new species from the karst region of southwestern China,and L bingzhongluoensis,a new species from montane region in Yunnan,are described and illustrated.L aureolabella is easily distinguished from its relatives by having abaxially purple leave with purple reticulate veins prominent adaxially,a lip auriculate at base,and falcate-lanceolate pollinia.Liparis mengziensis is closely related to L.petiolata and L.auriculata,but differs from them by having an ovate to broadly ovate leaf,purple lip and apex connate along the margins.Liparis bingzhongluoensis is similar to Liparis nanlingensis,but the new species is characterized by having a lip with two transparent ridges on its disc,longitudinally concave basal callus and triangular column wings.Phylogenetic analyses based on nuclear ribosomal ITS and plastid matK sequences showed that L aureolabella and L mengziensis are nested with L petiolata or L auriculata in a monophyletic clade.L bingzhongluoensis is sister to a clade formed by L.nanlingensis,L.tsii,L sasakii and L.krameri.Moreover,morphological comparisons strongly support that the three species as separated species newly to science.

Objective“Orogenic gold deposits,”which account for 30%of global gold resources(Frimmel and Hennigh,2015),is one of the most important types of gold deposits in the world.This kind of gold deposit is supposed to have spatial and temporal distribution association with the accretionary orogenic belt.The Ailaoshan Gold Belt,where there are many large orogenic gold deposits including Jinchang,Daping,Laowangzhai,Donggualing,and Changan,contribute substantially to Chinese gold resources.The Himalayan orogen and Ailaoshan Orogen,both have experienced the early accretionary orogenesis and the subsequent collisional orogenesis are one of the biggest orogenic belts on the earth.Gold mineralization can be divided into that the earlier Yarlung Zangbo suture zone(59–44 Ma)and the later Ailaoshan Orogen(35–26 Ma)(Li et al.,2017),based on previous geochronological studies.In order to find out if there are any connections between these two gold events,we present 40Ar/39Ar data of hydrothermal sericite collected from the Xiachahe gold deposit in the northwest of the Ailaoshan Gold Belt.However,our new geochronology data regards this as a continuous gold mineralization event resulting from the India–Eurasia collision.

With the global climate change, the extreme drought was increasing. From 2009 autumn to 2010 spring, a hundred-year drought happened in Yunnan province, which caused great local economic losses and widespread attention. So many researches about Yunnan drought were studied. The climatic characteristics of the drought over Yunnan are studied by analyzing the spatial and temporal distribution of some meteorological factors such as precipitation, temperature and sunlight, etc. Some researchers studied the formation mechanism of the drought events in Yunnan. In this paper, by investigating lots of related documents, we had a summarization and commentary about the recent study achievements of Yunnan drought and tried to offer reference to the study on the Yunnan drought in the future.

In order to find geomagnetic anomalies associated with Ms ≥ 6.0 strong earthquakes in Yunnan area, geomagnetic harmonic wave amplitude ratios with Z, H and D components in TCH, THJ, CHX and YOS stations were analyzed. It was found that geomagnetic amplitude ratio of Yzhx experienced a trend of decrease and increase before most of strong earthquakes. Moreover, these variations in different periods were inconsistent and no similar changes appeared for Yzhy, which may relate to fault-zone conductivity variation and seismogenic structure.
