    • 摘要: Understanding how severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)emerged in 2019 is critical to preventing zoonotic outbreaks before they become the next pandemic.The Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan,China,was identified as a likely source of cases in early reports but later this conclusion became controversial.We show the earliest known COVID-19 cases from December 2019,including those without reported direct links,were geographically centered on this market.We report that live SARS-CoV-2 susceptible mammals were sold at the market in late 2019 and,within the market,SARS-CoV-2-positive environmental samples were spatially associated with vendors selling live mammals.

    • 摘要: This study investigated water samples collected from the surface water and groundwater in Wuhan City,Hubei Province,China in different stages of the outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019(hereinafter referred to as COVID-19)in the city,aiming to determine the distribution characteristics of antiviral drugs in the city’s waters.The results are as follows.The main hydrochemical type of surface water and groundwater in Wuhan was Ca-HCO3.The major chemical components in the groundwater had higher concentrations and spatial variability than those in the surface water.Two antiviral drugs and two glucocorticoids were detected in the surface water,groundwater,and sewage during the COVID-19 outbreak.Among them,chloroquine phosphate and cortisone had higher detection rates of 32.26%and 25.80%,respectively in all samples.The concentrations of residual drugs in East Lake were higher than those in other waters.The main drug detected in the waters in the later stage of the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan was chloroquine phosphate,whose detection rates in the surface water and the groundwater were 53.85%and 28.57%,respectively.Moreover,the detection rate and concentration of chloroquine phosphate were higher in East Lake than in Huangjia Lake.The groundwater containing chloroquine phosphate was mainly distributed along the river areas where the groundwater was highly vulnerable.The residual drugs in the surface water and the groundwater had lower concentrations in the late stage of the COVID-19 outbreak than in the middle of the outbreak,and they have not yet caused any negative impacts on the ecological environment.

    • 摘要: Dirk Werner Hartmann,whose Chinese name is Zhang Ke,came to China in 1987 and studied at Wuhan University.He obtained double degrees in the Chinese Department of Wuhan University and Henan University.In 1996,he graduated from Trier University,the hometown of Marx,Germany,majoring in Chinese modem and classical linguistics and earned a Master*s degree.Zhang Ke is proficient in German,English,French,and Chinese.In 2011,he came to Xi''an Fanyi University to teach courses such as oral German language and literature,Germanic language and literature writing,computer English,E-commerce English,German DSH and IELTS training.In addition,Zhang Ke also served as the judge of CCTV Star of Outlook Talent English competition and the judge of German singing,speech and dubbing competition of Shaanxi universities.In 2017,he began to participate in China,s poverty alleviation project.The teachers in poor areas trained by him have won provincial and municipal teaching awards for many times,and the students,foreign language scores have exceeded the historical records of districts and counties for many times.In 2018,as an expert in the translation team,he participated in the English translation of Xi’an bus stop names.

    • 摘要: Objective:This study mainly analyzed the clinical characteristics of patients with COVID-19 in Suining,one of China’s fourth-tier cities,and Wuhan and compared data between the 2 cities.Methods:A retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 68 patients with COVID-19 diagnosed at Wuhan Red Cross Hospital and 17 patients diagnosed at Suining Central Hospital,was conducted.Results:Among the 68 patients with COVID-19 in Wuhan,30(44.1%)had hypertension,and 25(36.8%)had diabetes.Three out of the 17 patients in Suining(17.6%)had hypertension,and 2 patients(11.8%)had diabetes.In the clinical classification,there were 1(5.9%)and 23(33.8%)patients with severe COVID-19 in Suining and Wuhan,respectively.Chest CT showed that lung consolidation occurred in 2(11.8%)and 26(38.2%)patients with COVID-19 in Suining and Wuhan,respectively.The proportion of patients with diabetes or hypertension,severe COVID-19,lung consolidation in Wuhan was significantly higher than that in Suining.The laboratory tests suggested that percentage of elevated C-reactive protein(CRP)(58.8%),ALT(33.8%),blood glucose(45.6%),creatine kinase(CK)(33.8%)or D-dimer(47.1%)of patients in Wuhan were significantly increased than those in Suining(29.4%,5.9%,17.6%,5.9%,and 17.7%,respectively).Conclusion:The incidence of COVID-19 in fourth-tier city and the disease severity were significantly lower than that in Wuhan.
