摘要:
Using simple box quantization, we demonstrate explicitly that a spatial transition will release or absorb energy, and that compactification releases latent heat with an attendant change in volume and entropy. Increasing spatial dimension for a given number of particles costs energy while decreasing dimensions supplies energy, which can be quantified, using a generalized version of the Clausius-Clapyeron relation. We show this explicitly for massive particles trapped in a box. Compactification from N -dimensional space to (N - 1) spatial dimensions is also simply demonstrated and the correct limit to achieve a lower energy result is to take the limit, Lw → 0, where Lw is the compactification length parameter. Higher dimensional space has more energy and more entropy, all other things being equal, for a given cutoff in energy.

摘要:
Crashworthiness and lightweight optimization design of the crash box are studied in this paper. For the initial model, a physical test was performed to verify the model. Then, a parametric model using mesh morphing technology is used to optimize and decrease the maximum collision force (MCF) and increase specific energy absorption (SEA) while ensure mass is not increased. Because MCF and SEA are two conflicting objectives, grey relational analysis (GRA) and principal component analysis (PCA) are employed for design optimization of the crash box. Furthermore, multi-objective analysis can convert to a single objective using the grey relational grade (GRG) simultaneously, hence, the proposed method can obtain the optimal combination of design parameters for the crash box. It can be concluded that the proposed method decreases the MCF and weight to 16.7% and 29.4% respectively, while increasing SEA to 16.4%. Meanwhile, the proposed method in comparison to the conventional NSGA-Ⅱ method, reduces the time cost by 103%. Hence, the proposed method can be properly applied to the optimization of the crash box.

The article describes the research process of ginning, conducted at the stand of the saw gin of the DP series. The analysis of the roll box of saw gins of different companies was carried out, given the results of studies to determine the speed and density of the seed roll in the roll box of the saw gin. A diagram is given for the dependence of the speed of the feed rollers on the incoming signal.

In this paper, we propose a low-cost posture recognition scheme using a single webcam for the signaling hand with nature sways and possible oc-clusions. It goes for developing the untouchable low-complexity utility based on friendly hand-posture signaling. The scheme integrates the dominant temporal-difference detection, skin color detection and morphological filtering for efficient cooperation in constructing the hand profile molds. Those molds provide representative hand profiles for more stable posture recognition than accurate hand shapes with in effect trivial details. The resultant bounding box of tracking the signaling molds can be treated as a regular-type object-matched ROI to facilitate the stable extraction of robust HOG features. With such commonly applied features on hand, the prototype SVM is adequately capable of obtaining fast and stable hand postures recognition under natural hand movement and non-hand object occlusion. Experimental results demonstrate that our scheme can achieve hand-posture recognition with enough accuracy under background clutters that the targeted hand can be allowed with medium movement and palm-grasped object. Hence, the proposed method can be easily embedded in the mobile phone as application software.

摘要:
The article contains information about saw gin used at cotton processing plants. The influence of the density of the seed roll, which is formed in the roll box of the saw gin, on the load of the saw cylinder drive and on the technological characteristics of the machine is considered. As a result of the research, in order to preserve the quality characteristics of fiber and seeds, the author proposes a gin stand with a system for regulating the position of the roll box.

A series of fundamental experimental investigation was conducted in order to examine the effect of PWHT by sheet-type ceramic heater on the residual stress, deformation and compressive behavior of non-stiffened welded box columns. The sheet-type ceramic heater was able to control the required temperature history for PWHT with high accuracy. The welding-induced tensile and compressive residual stresses of the specimens were reduced by 90% and 76% respectively with PWHT. Besides, PWHT could reduce the welding-induced out-of-plane deformation by 22%. It was revealed that the PWHT specimens had a slight higher stiffness than the As-welded specimens when applying monotonic static compressive load on both As-welded and PWHT specimens. They could also enhance the ultimate compressive load capacity about 32% of that of the As-welded specimens. The effectiveness of PWHT with the sheet-type ceramic heater could be confirmed.
