    • 摘要: For military warfare purposes,it is necessary to identify the type of a certain weapon through video stream tracking based on infrared(IR)video frames.Computer vision is a visual search trend that is used to identify objects in images or video frames.For military applications,drones take a main role in surveillance tasks,but they cannot be confident for longtime missions.So,there is a need for such a system,which provides a continuous surveillance task to support the drone mission.Such a system can be called a Hybrid Surveillance System(HSS).This system is based on a distributed network of wireless sensors for continuous surveillance.In addition,it includes one or more drones to make short-time missions,if the sensors detect a suspicious event.This paper presents a digital solution to identify certain types of concealed weapons in surveillance applications based on Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs)and Convolutional Long Short-Term Memory(ConvLSTM).Based on initial results,the importance of video frame enhancement is obvious to improve the visibility of objects in video streams.The accuracy of the proposed methods reach 99%,which reflects the effectiveness of the presented solution.In addition,the experimental results prove that the proposed methods provide superior performance compared to traditional ones.

    • 摘要: 针对医学图像的特点进行分析,选择小波变换对图像进行分解,但第一代小波变换存在缺陷,选择了第二代D5/3小波的提升方案对医学图像进行小波变换,再结合多级树集合分裂算法(SPIHT)进行改进,引入给定阈值思想.在Matlab中对大量医学图片进行仿真实验,实验仿真结果表明,该算法与传统的压缩算法相比较,在峰值信噪比(PSNR)和重构图像质量上都有较大的提高,更适合于医学图像压缩.

    • 摘要: 为了保证电网数据压缩后,还原效果更佳,本文引入了基于小波变换的改进SPIHT压缩算法。该算法首先对小波变换后的系数进行一个向上取整;其次,对小波变换后的低频小波系数部分进行DPCM线性预测;最后,对高频小波系数采用一个简单的二叉树编码。实验结果表明,本文改进的SPIHT算法对电网数据压缩还原后的数据失真有一定程度的改善,并适用于工程应用中。

    • 摘要: 针对目前小波变换联合传统SPIHT编解码算法复杂度高、压缩率不高的问题,利用现场可编程门阵列技术(FPGA)对算法进行改进.方法采用性能优异的9/7提升小波进行三级变换,将二维提升小波变换改为一维,提高了硬件实现的并行度,减小了复杂度,提升了处理时间;在SPIHT算法中对不重要的高频系数进行截位处理,去除了不必要的冗余,提高了SPIHT的编码效率.实验结果表明,与传统SPIHT算法相比,设计的改进系统所得的数据压缩率更高,更易于硬件实现.%Aiming at the problem that wavelet transformation combined with traditional SPIHT encoding /decoding algorithm has high complexity and low compression rate, FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) is used to improve the algorithm. In this method, the 9/7 lifting wavelet with excellent performance is used to implement the three stages, three-stage transformation, and the 2-D lifting wavelet transformation is changed into one dimension, thus raising the parallelism of the hardware implementation, reducing the complexity, and improving the processing time. In the SPIHT algorithm, while the truncating processing is done on thus to remove the unnecessary redundancy and raise the coding efficiency of SPIHT. The experimental results indicate that compared with the traditional SPIHT algorithm, the modified system has a higher data compression rate and is easier for hardware implementation.

    • 摘要: In order to reduce the storage and improve the image quality of the compressed,a lossy image compression algorithm based on principal component analysis and set partitioning in hierarchical tree (SPIHT)compression algorithm is proposed.Firstly,the image is decomposed by principal component decomposition,and the main features are selected to realize image compression,then SPIHT algorithm is used to compress the image into wavelet coefficients of different subband.Finally,Huffman coding is employed to achieve two-level image compression. Comparing this algorithm with SPIHT algorithm,Huffman coding algorithm of SPIHT,JEPG 2000 and PCA compression algorithm, our experimental results demonstrate a better performance than other compression algorithms and can obtain higher PNSR and SSIM under the same compression ratio.%互联网的飞速发展,产生了大量的图像信息.为了减少图片占用的存储空间,提高图像质量,提出了一种将主成分分析(PCA)和分层树集合划分(SPIHT)压缩算法相结合的有损图像压缩算法.首先对图像进行主成分分解,选取主要特征值进行压缩,再利用SPIHT算法将图像分解成不同子带的小波系数进行压缩,对SPIHT压缩系数进行哈夫曼编码,实现图像二级压缩.将本文提出的算法与SPIHTSPIHT的哈夫曼编码、JEPG2000、PCA压缩算法进行了比较,结果表明本算法较其他压缩算法具有更好的性能,在压缩比相同的情况下能获得更高的PNSR和SSIM.

    • 摘要: 针对高速传输系统中大批量数据不易传输的问题,提出了一种基于片上系统图像压缩卡的设计方法,讨论了采用软核NiosⅡ处理器的配置方式、简化SPIHT算法的硬件实现原理和LVDS图像数据接收转存的操作流程.详细论述了系统各模块的设计原理及实现方法,并对各模块进行了实际的性能测试和分析,结果表明该压缩卡性能稳定,可以高效地完成图像数据压缩.%Aiming at the transmission problem of large quantities of data in high speed transmission system,this paper puts forwards a design method of image compression card based on system-on-chip. The method discusses configuration mode of using soft-core Nios Ⅱ processor, hardware implementation principle of simplifying SPIHT algorithm and operation process of receiving and storing of LVDS image data. The paper discusses detailedly the design principle and realization method of each module in system and provides actual performance testing and analysis to each module. The results show that the compression card has stable performance and can efficiently complete the image data compression.

    • 摘要: 传统栅格影像均采用简单的、由低分辨率到高分辨率的像素级渐进压缩模式,较少考虑到用户需求特征和知识,因此,文中利用POI数据特点及图像感兴趣区编码特性,提出一种基于城市POI的遥感影像渐进压缩思想:首先根据大量的POI数据分析挖掘用户关注的热度信息,建立兴趣场,并以此确定遥感影像的感兴趣区域,然后综合SPIHT算法与Maxshift算法对遥感影像进行渐进压缩编码.实验结果表明,该方法在低码率下仍可以高质量保留图像所含重要信息,能够很好地满足用户的需求,实现了知识层级的遥感影像渐进压缩,有效提高图像压缩编码的实用性和优越性.%The traditional raster image is a simple pixel level compression mode from low resolution to high resolution without considering much about users'requirements.With the characteristics of POI (points of interest)data reflecting user needs and ROI coding,a method for remote sensing image progressive compression based on city POI is proposed.First,the application and importance of a great deal of POI data are analyzed from rich attribute information,position characteristics and user interest.A concept of space interest field is put forward.Then SPIHT algorithm and Maxshift algorithm are integiated to encode with compression for the remote sensing images.The experimental results show that the important and users'interested information of remote sensing image can be retained with high quality when the bit rate is low,and can well meet the needs of users. The method realizes remote sensing image progressive compression by knowledge hierarchy, and also improves the practicability and superiority of image compression.

    • 摘要: 低速通道中图像传递在许多领域有广泛应用。探讨一种基于SPIHT 算法对高品质图像进行压缩的方法。采用该方法能给远距离无线通信应用提供递进的图像传输能力。与JPEG不同,JPEG标准必须先将图像压缩到一定程度后再传送。该方法中,数据头和图片数据从目标图像中区分开来。头信息经过必要修改后再传送,图像数据使用SPIHT压缩并传送。实验表明,该方法可以得到更好的压缩率和传输时间。
