Edito r‐in‐Chief Xiangang Luo,Institute of Optics and Electronics,Chinese Academy of Sciences,China Professor Xiangang Luo is currently the director of State Key Laboratory of Optical Technologies on Nano-Fabrication and Micro-Engineering(SKLOTNM),and president of the Institute of Optics and Electronics(IOE),Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS).He received Ph.D.from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001.He was a Research Scientist in the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research(RIKEN)of Japan.His research interests are micro/nano-optics,plasmonics,planar optics,subwavelength electromagnetics and catenary optics.He has published more than 400 scientific papers and 100 patents in op-tics and related fields.He is a Fellow of the International Society for Optics and Photonics(SPIE),Optical Society of America(OSA),Chinese Optical Society(COS),and the In-ternational Academy of Photonics and Laser Engineering(IAPLE).In 2019,he was elected as the Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering.

He has won the SPIEPhotonics West “Green Photonics Award” three times. In 2019,he joined Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics andPhysics through the CAS President’s International FellowshipInitiative (PIFI), and started to work in the Bimberg Chinese-German Green Photonics Research Center.Question: Please introduce your motherland to Chinese readers.Germany is a federal republic consisting of 16 “states” havingall their own parliaments, governments and legislation indefined areas. The members of parliaments are elected ingeneral elections and are either paid for part time or fully timework. There is a distribution of power between the republic andthe states. Education including universities is state business.Defense and foreign affairs are republic business. Here aresimilarities to the Chinese provincial system. 4月21-23日,在美国马里兰州巴尔的摩市巴尔的摩会议中心举办的SPIE国防、安全与传感2015年展会上,英国PIXELTEQ公司展示了其增加了新功能的PixelCamTM和SpectroCamTM两款多光谱摄像机。PixelCam相机使用PIXELTEQ独特的像素化二向色滤光片阵列传输实时多光谱图像,具有与单色成像仪相同的SWaP值。PIXELTEQ还在其SpectroCam系列多光谱成像解决方案中增加了一个短波红外(SWIR)摄像机选项,因而使其能提供生动丰富的高达6个光谱段的图像,能让用户看到超越人类视觉的彩色红外图像。
