    • 摘要: Inhalable particles(PM_(10)),with aerodynamic equivalent diameters that are generally 10 micrometers or smaller,are basic pollutants in many areas,especially in northern China,and thus the pollution from PM_(10)inhalable particulate matter is a growing concern for public health.Independent long-term observations are necessary to evaluate the efficacy of PM_(10)reduction actions.Variations in the PM_(10)concentration from 2006 to 2017 at an observation station(NJ)in Beijing were recorded and analyzed.The average value±1 standard deviation of daily mean PM_(10)concentrations was 138.8±96.1μg m^(-3)for 1307 days(accounting for 34.7%of the total days),showing PM_(10)concentration exceeding the National Ambient Air Quality Standard(NAAQS)24-h average of 150μg m^(-3).Particulate concentration depended upon various meteorological conditions as also observed in this work:at low wind speed(4 m s^(-1)),the values increased by 49μg m^(-3)per unit of wind speed.In Beijing,air masses from northwest China,especially from the Gobi Desert and other desert areas,had net contributions to long-range transport of natural dust,enhancing the PM_(10)concentrations by up to 29%.Overall,PM_(10)mass concentration showed a significant downward trend with-8.0μg/m3/yr from 2006 to 2017.Although with higher fluctuations in recorded data,similar downward trends derived from the government released data were also found at the nearby districts.The result delivered a proof of efficacy for the reduction actions recently adopted to limit PM_(10)concentrations in Beijing.Very significant difference of diurnal changes in PM_(10) concentrations was also found in two periods of 2006-2011 and 2012-2017,which might be due to the different contributions of fugitive dust.Nevertheless,further efforts,especially on controlling fugitive dust,should be planned as the PM_(10) concentration annual mean value(94μg m^(-3))in 2017 still exceeded the NAAQS standard.The results showed that there is still a long way to go to reduce PM_(10)in Beijing.

    • 摘要: Based on the research on architectural color context in cultural quintessence area of Dongjiaomin Lane in Beijing City,the historical causes and changes of architectural color characteristics are explored.Through the investigation on the architectural color status of streets,GIS technology is used to construct architectural color information database for systematic study,and the typical characteristics,main laws and major problems of architectural color of streets are excavated.Combining social investigation and psychological evaluation,the public’s psychological judgment and demands on architectural color are mastered in a multi-dimensional way.Based on various conclusions,this paper explores scientific and effective methods for architectural color planning and coordination of streets,and puts forward specific suggestions for color protection planning,with a view to creating a architectural color pattern of streets in cultural quintessence area of Dongjiaomin Lane with overall harmony,perfect order,ancient and modern integration,and distinctive characteristics.
    • 摘要: On July 7th,the 10th CCPIT Youth Forum was held in Beijing.Ren Hongbin,Secretary of the CCPIT CPC Leadership Group and Chairman of the CCPIT,attended the forum and delivered a speech,while Chen Jian’an,Member of the CCPIT CPC Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the CCPIT,presided over the forum.Many of the relevant officials in charge and youth delegates from member entities of the CCPIT Leading Group for Youth Work took part in the event.

    • 摘要: On March 17, 2022, a city-wide snowfall occurred in Beijing, China, with significant snowfall in Northwest China and other places. By using the surface meteorological observation data and NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data, we carried out a case study of a snowfall event in Beijing from March 17 to 18, 2022. Results show that this process had the characteristics of a wide range of influence and a large range of cooling. The temperature in the north of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River changed from an obvious high to low in the previous period, and the rain and snow in northern China were obvious. The snowfall in Beijing is the result of the combined influence of warm and humid air and cold air. The warm and humid air flow from the Indo-China Peninsula all the way to the north brought abundant water vapor and unstable energy. The southward cold air and warm and humid air met and collided in the central and eastern part of China, and brought about precipitation under the combined action of atmospheric instability energy and other factors. The temperature in Beijing dropped significantly, but it still has not reached the standard of “cold spring” in the meteorological sense.

    • 摘要: In this study,the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF)model and meteorological observation data were used to research the long-distance moisture transport supply source of the extreme rainfall event that occurred on July 21,2012 in Beijing.Recording a maximum rainfall amount of 460 mm in 24 h,this rainstorm event had two dominant moisture transport channels.In the early stage of the rainstorm,the first channel comprised southwesterly monsoonal moisture from the Bay of Bengal(BOB)that was directly transported to north China along the eastern edge of Tibetan Plateau(TP)by orographic uplift.During the rainstorm,the southwesterly moisture transport was weakened by the transfer of Typhoon Vicente.Moreover,the southeasterly moisture transport between the typhoon and western Pacific subtropical high(WPSH)became another dominant moisture transport channel.The moisture in the lower troposphere was mainly associated with the southeasterly moisture transport from the South China Sea and the East China Sea,and the moisture in the middle troposphere was mainly transported from the BOB and Indian Ocean.The control experiment well reproduced the distribution and intensity of rainfall and moisture transport.By comparing the control and three sensitivity experiments,we found that the moisture transported from Typhoon Vicente and a tropical cyclone in the BOB both significantly affected this extreme rainfall event.After Typhoon Vicente was removed in a sensitivity experiment,the maximum 24-h accumulated rainfall in north China was reduced by approximately 50%compared with that of the control experiment,while the rainfall after removing the tropical cyclone was reduced by 30%.When both the typhoon and tropical cyclone were removed,the southwesterly moisture transport was enhanced.Moreover,the sensitivity experiment of removing Typhoon Vicente also weakened the tropical cyclone in the BOB.Thus,the moisture pump driven by Typhoon Vicente played an important role in maintaining and strengthening the tropical cyclone in the BOB through its westerly airflow.Typhoon Vicente was not only the moisture transfer source for the southwesterly monsoonal moisture but also affected the tropical cyclone in the BOB,which was a key supply source of long-distance moisture transport for the extreme rainfall event on July21,2012 in Beijing.
