In the primary processing of cotton, it is important to increase the productivity of ginning and reduce the wear of working bodies. The working body of the genie is the working chamber, the saw cylinder and the rib grate. The main wear is on the saw cylinder shaft and saw teeth. The wear of these parts leads to additional material costs, as well as to a decrease in the quality of the fiber. The wear of the shaft is affected by the number of saws and the mass of raw cotton in the working chamber of the gin. To prevent wear of the saw cylinder, the article determines the optimal static load on the shaft by calculating saw gins consisting of 90, 100, 110, 120, 130 saws. An analysis of tables shows that maximum value to bending shows 120 and 130 saws cylinder, because shaft bending angles along the length appear. This leads to a 2% - 3% reduction in the distance between the saws, serves for the premature wear of the saw, the exit of short fibers.

Geldanamycin (1) had been isolated as a major compound from Streptomyces zerumbet W14;an endophyte of Zingiber zerumbet (L.) Smith. Two new geldanamycin derivatives;17-(tryptamine)-17-demethoxygeldanamycin (2) and 17-(5’-methoxytryptamine)-17-demethoxygeldanamycin (3) were synthe- sized and their anti-inflammatory activity was evaluated in LPS-induced macrophage RAW 264.7 cells by investigating their effects on the inhibition of production of NO, PGE2, TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-10. The data obtained were consistent with the modulation of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10 production by these derivatives at concentration of 1 to 5 μg/ml. A similar effect was also observed when LPS-induced NO release and PGE2 production were tested. The inhibitory effects were shown in concentration-dependent manners. From the obtained results, it was concluded that two new gelda- namycin derivatives possess anti-inflammatory activity on LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells. They could be useful for the management of inflammatory diseases.

摘要:
High methoxyl pectin (DE = 59.53%) was extracted from plantain peel using acid extraction method. Pectin yield was 40.5%;moisture content was 87.56%;equivalent weight was 1000 g/ml, and galacturonic acid content was 2.89 mg/ml. Composite polymer films incorporating the extracted pectin manifest their best mechanical properties;tensile strength and % elongation of 5.51 MPa and 5.75% respectively with 10 ml glycerol/1g pectin. Raman spectra peaks at 2930 cm1, 1750 cm–1 and 820 cm–1 indicated CH-stretch, C=O ester group of pectin and COH ring in pectin respectively. Films containing pectin sourced from waste are considered potential alternative sources of environmentally benign packaging materials.

The article considers the movement of a mixture of air and raw cotton through a pipeline with a variable cross-section as a multi-speed heterogeneous medium. The regularities of the movement of components inside the pipeline, the equation of change in the porosity of cotton, air pressure and component velocities in time and along the transportation line are obtained. It was found that in the initial 20 - 25 m part of the pneumatic transport pipe there is a sharp decrease in pressure and air flow velocity, while the speed of cotton increases rapidly due to which there is a strong deformation of cotton stretching under the influence of aerodynamic force, which occurs due to the difference in the velocities of the components of the mixture, as a result of which the cotton loosens, and its porosity increases intensively.
