    • 摘要: PLA composites containing biomass fillers from the three herbaceous plants such as reed,wheat stalk,and coco-nut fiber with length and diameter at the scale of several millimeters were prepared without using additives.The reinforcement effect on the properties of PLA/biomass filler composites is investigated.The research results show that the PLA/biomass filler composites exhibit good stiffness,flexural strength,and impact toughness.Among the three kinds of biomass fillers,reed reinforced PLA composites show optimal mechanical properties.When filled with 40%–50%reed,the flexural moduli of the composites are over 7000 MPa.Flexural strength retains at the same level of pure PLA.The notch impact strength reaches to 4.50±0.73 kJ/m^(2),which is 2.06 times higher than that of pure PLA.Furthermore,the introduction of biomass fillers increases the crystallization ability of PLA and does not increase the water absorption of the composites.This research demonstrated that PLA composites prepared with biomass fillers from the herbaceous plants(namely herb plastic composites,HPCs)is a material with good comprehensive mechanical properties while retaining the intrinsic particularity of biological sources.

    • 摘要: 对聚乳酸(PLA)降温段异型管产品结构、挤出模头设计及挤塑成型原理进行研究,进而对PLA降温段异型管挤塑成型工艺进行系统分析。提出了影响PLA降温异型管挤塑加工成型生产效率的关键工艺参数,如挤出模具、定型定径套管长度、真空度等,为得到稳定挤出的PLA降温段产品提供系统思路。

    • 摘要: In this study, a design of experiments (DoE) approach was used to develop a PLA open-cell foam morphology using the compression molding technique. The effect of three molding parameters (foaming time, mold opening temperature, and weight concentration of the ADA blowing agent) on the cellular structure was investigated. A regression equation relating the average cell size to the above three processing parameters was developed from the DoE and the analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to find the best dimensional fitting parameters based on the experimental data. With the help of the DoE technique, we were able to develop various foam morphologies having different average cell size distribution levels, which is important in the development of open-cell PLA scaffolds for bone regeneration for which the control of cell morphology is crucial for osteoblasts proliferation. For example, at a constant ADA weight concentration of 5.95 wt%, we were able to develop a narrow average cell size distribution ranging between 275 and 300 μm by varying the mold opening temperature between 106°C and 112°C, while maintaining the foaming time constant at 8 min, or by varying the mold foaming time between 6 and 11 min and maintaining the mold opening temperature at 109°C.

    • 摘要: Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) feedback mode has been used to investigate kinetics of dye regeneration in DSSC. Organic dye C343 and CW1 are used as sensitizers for nickel oxide (NiO) photoelectrochemical cells. The influence of film thickness on dye regeneration kinetics in the films for NiO/C343 for six different films was investigated. SECM was used to analyze effective rate constant, keff and reduction rate kred, absorption cross section, Φhv for the dye regeneration process. The data reveal a significant variation of keff and kred with a variation of light intensity, sample thickness and dye difference. This research found remarkable dependence of the dye regeneration kinetic parameters on illumination flux, dye types and film thickness of electrode.

    • 摘要: A derivation of the nanoprecipitation technique without the presence of surfactants to reduce the nanoparticle size is herein proposed. The absence of surfactant in the nanoprecipitation technique allows capturing particles with a smaller diameter than nanoparticles containing surfactants, facilitating the migration of antioxidant nanoparticles in film packaging. Biodegradable PLA nanoparticles with clove oil were produced and characterized by dynamic light scattering, zeta potential, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, retention efficiency, cytotoxicity, and antioxidant activity. The particle sizes obtained were smaller than those commonly produced by nanoprecipitation, monodispersed and stable for 6 months. The antioxidant activity showed that the encapsulated form of clove oil had greater antioxidant activity than unencapsulated clove oil. The addition of PLA nanoparticles decreased the cytotoxic action of eugenol, the main antioxidant component of clove oil.

    • 摘要: 【目的】加热卷烟烟支结构较短,入口烟气温度相对传统卷烟较高,需添加降温材料以降低烟气温度。通过对聚乳酸(PLA)材料进行改性处理,以开发出适用于加热卷烟用的降温材料。【方法】采用熔融挤出方法制备聚乙二醇(PEG)/碳化硅(SiC)改性PLA复合材料,利用拉伸机、热重(TG)、差示扫描量热仪(DSC)与加热卷烟吸烟机考察复合材料力学性能、热特性以及对烟气降温效果、关键成分释放的影响。【结果】(1)较纯相PLA而言,添加PEG后复合材料拉伸强度、冲击强度明显下降,熔融指数与断裂延伸率增大,韧性增强;进一步添加SiC后,复合材料断裂延伸率与熔融指数减小。(2)添加PEG后,复合材料起始热分解温度降低,20%添加量下DSC曲线在53.32°C处出现主吸热峰,热焓变化值为48.63 J/g;加入SiC后,该峰热焓变化值减小,主吸热峰转至PLA熔融吸热峰处。(3)逐口烟气温度随PEG含量增加呈明显降低趋势,加入SiC后,复合材料导热系数增大,对烟气降温效果进一步提高;添加改性复合材料后,主流烟气中总粒相物、烟碱、水分、甘油含量降低,CO释放量变化不明显,不同改性样品间各成分释放差异较小。【结论】利用PEG、SiC对PLA进行改性处理,可有效提升对烟气的降温效果。

    • 摘要: Polymer nanocomposites have been successfully used as excipients in pharmaceutical technology because of the convenient features that make them suitable for many applications, especially in controlled drug delivery therapies. The objective of this work was to prepare and characterize PLA and starch microparticles containing Viscogel B8 organophilic clay as a matrix for controlled release of rifampicin, one of the most spread drugs for tuberculosis treatment. The systems obtained by the spray drying technique were characterized by DRX, FTIR, SEM and low-field NMR. In addition, dissolution tests were performed on simulated gastric fluid. The micrographs indicate that the presence of the drug caused a small change in the shape and size of the particles. In the presence of the drug, the particles were spherical and presented wider size distribution. The XRD assays didn’t show crystalline peaks of rifampicin in the microparticles, which suggests that rifampicin exists in an amorphous solid solution inside the starch-PLA particles. The mathematical model of Baker-Lonsdale was chosen for the treatment of the dissolution data, describing the controlled release of the drug from the matrix by a spherical diffusion process. The results suggest that the proposed release system may be used for the delivery of orally administered drugs, such as rifampicin.
