摘要： NZS 4541 provides an integrated set of rules for the design, installation, and maintenance of sprinkler systems, so that systems reliably protect against the loss of life and minimise property damage from fire by controlling the fire: within a specified area, and to allow escape before levels of toxic by-products of combustion become life-threatening. This standard is used extensively across the fire protection industry. New Zealand has one of the highest recorded successful operations of fire sprinkler systems, which can be attributed to the rigorous standards and associated legislation to which systems are installed and maintained. 摘要： Objective of this standard is to set out the requirements for the safe transport of dangerous goods on land in road and rail vehicles. It intends to provide a means of compliance with the Dangerous Goods Rule, as well as a guide to best practice requirements for the safe transport of dangerous goods on land. The 2020 version contains updated technical content that will allow users to follow up-to-date good practice and specifications. The removal of the duplicated international specifications (which is revised every two years) and inclusion by reference only will future proof the standard, and ensure that the standard is fit for purpose.¿¿ In addition, this standard also includes prescriptive information on the transport of dangerous goods that is specific to New Zealand only, as well as including considerable reference to the Land Transport Act - Dangerous Goods Transport Rule, regulated by NZTA. Note that the revised NZS 5433.2:2012 Dangerous goods list is to be included in a handbook SNZ HB 5433:2021 UN dangerous goods list as opposed to a standard, due for release early 2021.

摘要： Sets out the essential safety requirements for all gas appliances in New Zealand that are not subject to a recognised certification regime. The standard is not a design code and therefore it does not address matters of performance, appearance, or durability except where they are relevant to safety. The requirements are intended to protect persons, domestic animals and property from fire, explosion, release of noxious gases, and physical injury hazards that may arise from gas appliances. This standard was first issued in 2011 as an interim standard. After minor changes in 2012 it was reissued for a further period of comment. The changes added to the list of characteristics to be assessed in A2.2 and in C2.2.2 affirmed the validity of tests using Australian test gases for natural gas. In 2014 the development committee decided that the interim standard should be confirmed as a full standard with a minor change to A2.1 to clarify requirements relating to gas appliance testing using LPG line gas. A small change has also been made to item 27 in the checklist in D1 by removing reference to NZ limit gases and simply requiring that combustion tests are satisfactory.

摘要： Provides guidance to owners and operators of electricity generation, transmission or distribution network assets, or gas distribution assets, which are required by statute to have a safety management system (SMS) that operates to safeguard members of the public or property of members of the public from safety-related risks arising from the presence or operation of these assets. The standard applies to all electricity transmission and electricity distribution assets in one or more systems with a total capacity equal to or greater than 10 MVA, and to all electricity generation assets in one or more systems with a total capacity equal to or greater than 10 MW. It also applies to all gas distribution assets in one or more systems, including all natural gas and LPG vapour distribution assets, that operate at a pressure equal to or less than 2000 kPa, and supply more than 10 terajoules of gas in any year, or have a flow design capacity equal to or greater than 10 gigajoules per hour. The total capacity for each asset type applies to each energy asset owner or operator irrespective of whether those assets are in one system or separate systems.
