实施时间:摘要: This standard details recommended design features to reduce the incidence of false alarms with acoustic glassbreak sensors, or any sensor which uses acoustic glassbreak sensing used in security systems. In addition, specific recommendations are made regarding content in sensor installation instructions and application instructions, also for the purpose of reducing false alarms.Recommendations on design features, installation instructions, and application instructions for maximizing lass break detection are also included. Since the technology of acoustic glass break detection can involve a trade-off between detection and false alarm immunity, a focus solely on false alarm immunity will compromise glass break detection. Detection therefore has equal emphasis in this standard.This standard recognizes that the majority of false alarms and missed detections for glassbreak sensors are due to application and installation errors, and that widespread instruction on application and installation will have the greatest impact toward minimizing false alarms while maximizing glass break detection. -

实施时间:摘要: The SIA-2000 protocol structures the communication between a control and a central station receiver. The basic form of this communication conveys information such as alarms, alarm cancels, troubles, and restorals. This involves tranfsferring information records from the control to the central station, and receiving acknowledgements from the receiver for each record.To support features such as remote panel programming and alarm verification through audio or video means, the protocol has provisions to extend the communication session. Once extended, the receiver can query the control for information or change the control's configuration. The extended session can also be used for verification. It is at this point, that communication using SIA-2000 ends and the appropriate form of communication for verification begins. -

This set provides standardized, easily recognizable icons representing the form or function of the device and a reduced number of symbols through the development of generic icons with single-character attributes for the mount style and technology or device type.This standard was based on the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F967 Standard Practice for Security Engineer Symbols (manually drafted symbols) and subsequently updated to include symbols required for security system design and implementation.This standard is intended to provide uniformity in the design and layout of physical security systems, making CAD-generated construction drawings more easily read and understood by all in security management, design disciplines and construction trades.This standard is intended for implementation by architects, building contractors, system integrators, electrical contractors and security managers who use CAD to produce construction drawings, shop drawings and installation/as-built drawings, as well as all other entities that are involved with physical security system layouts.
