In the area of peri-implantitis, a mucoperiosteal flap is folded back. Granulation tissue is removed from the surface of the flap and around the implant. The exposed coils of the implant are closed with granulated calcium phosphate soaked in 1 ml of an aqueous solution of 15,000 IU/ml of cholecalciferol.
