Disclosed are a low-smoke-density halogen-containing flame-retardance-enhanced PBT/PET composite, a preparation method therefor, and the use thereof. The low-smoke-density halogen-containing flame-retardance-enhanced PBT/PET composite comprises the following components: PBT, PET, fiberglass, a bromine-based flame retardant, a synergistic flame retardant, an epoxy resin, boehmite, kaolin, and magnesium stearate, wherein the weight ratio of PBT to PET is (1-4) : 1, and the particle size D50 of the magnesium stearate is less than or equal to 5 μm. By compounding PET with PBT at an appropriate ratio and by means of the synergistic action of boehmite, kaolin, and magnesium stearate with a specific particle size, the smoke density of the PBT/PET composite achieves smoke density grade 3 as required by the EN45545-2 standard, and the smoke density Ds max is less than or equal to 150 in an ISO5659-2 test; in addition, a PET/PET product prepared from this PBT/PET composite has a high gloss in terms of appearance. The low-smoke-density halogen-containing flame-retardance-enhanced PBT/PET composite of the present invention is applicable to occasions where the requirements for the smoke density are extremely high and the product has a good appearance.
