Method for producing a prosthesis performed as a total or hybrid tooth prosthesis, epithelium or prosthetic or orthopedic aid for detachable fixation to a plurality of anchoring magnets embedded in a jawbone (1),wherein the prosthesis has a molded body equipped with correspondingly opposite-pole magnets as a functional carrier, in which an impression of the overgrown jawbone is taken as a negative by means of an impression mass and the molded body is produced, characterized in this respect, that opposite pole position magnets corresponding to the anchoring magnets (1) are introduced into the impression mass, wherein the position magnets are placed on the tissue in the area of the anchoring magnets used in the jaw bone (1) on the tissue covering this area,so that they align relative to the anchoring magnets due to the magnetic attraction forces of the position magnets (1), and that the impression mass is then applied so that the position magnets align themselves automatically due to the magnetic attraction forces of the position magnets relative to the anchoring magnets (1), before solidification or curing of the impression mass occurs, and that starting from the negative impression thus created, the prosthesis including the holding magnets (12) is prepared, wherein the position of the holding magnets (12) on the prosthesis is determined by the position magnets in the impression mass.
