The method for fast booting and upgrading of an electric vehicle charger through dualization of charger memory according to the present invention comprises: transmitting, by a charging information management server, a firmware file of the new version to the electric vehicle charger to update the firmware of a new version in the electric vehicle charger; , when the new version of the firmware is updated in a second application area separated from the first application area of the non-volatile memory in the electric vehicle charger, checking an operation state of the updated firmware; and the operation state of the updated firmware and instructing the electric vehicle charger to copy the data of the second application area to the first application area in a standby state in which the electric vehicle is not charged, if there is no error as a result of checking . Through this, the present invention provides the effect of stably operating the electric vehicle charger and increasing the booting speed and program update speed of the electric vehicle charger.
