PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device and an assembly type partition unit which can be easily assembled even by a beginner and can save a space for storage. SOLUTION: The connecting device 3 is used for an assembly type partition and connects at least one expandable frame member 2 formed by combining a first pipe body 2a and a second pipe body 2b having different opening diameters. The connecting device 3 is provided with a connecting main body and a connecting hole portion provided in the connecting main body at least one and capable of connecting both the first tube body 2a and the second tube body 2b.
