A preparation method for an anti-inflammatory and kidney-protecting clam peptide and an application of the clam peptide. The method comprises: taking the whole meat of a Hongdao clam, washing and mincing same to obtain a slurry, adding a compound protease accounting for 0.1-0.3% of the weight of the slurry, and performing enzymolysis, centrifugation, membrane separation and purification, and spray drying to obtain clam peptide powder. The clam peptide can be used for mitigating an inflammatory response of body and kidney function damage caused by hypertension.
