The invention relates to a combing machine (1), designed for producing combed fibers having at least one combing head (10) with a feeding device for interconnected fibers, wherein each combing head (10) is formed, comb short fibres and/or nits out of the interconnected fibres and subsequently produce a combed fibre band stretching the fibre band(s) into a single fibre band.The invention is characterized in that the combing machine (1) is designed to place the stretched fiber band either by means of a storage head (9) in a jug (8) or by means of an extraction line (14) for transport to an upstream machine of the cleaning plant.
