The invention relates to a method for coordinating a vehicle (3) on a depot (1), wherein the depot (1) is divided into several functional areas (Gi), wherein the vehicle (3) is controlled by at least some of the functional areas (Gi) in a defined target area (Z), having at least the following steps:-Receiving a driving profile, wherein the driving profile includes a function rule, wherein each function rule is assigned to a function area (Gi) at the depot (1) and defines the function rule, how the vehicle (3) is controlled at the depot (1) in the respective functional area (Gi) and/or may not be controlled;-while the vehicle (3) is controlled by at least some of the functional areas (Gi) into the target area (Z):--continuous determination of a position of the vehicle (3) at the depot (1);– Determine the functional range (Gi) associated with the currently determined position of the vehicle (3) from the received driving profile;– reading the function rule assigned to the determined function range (Gi) from the received driving profile; and--Control the vehicle (3) depending on the read-in function rule in such a way that the function rule is implemented in the currently traversed function range (Gi).
