Systems and methods for beautifying digital ink

Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for use in beautifying digital ink of handwriting input to a computing device. The computing device is connected to the input device in the form of an input surface. A user may provide input by applying pressure to or gesturing over the input surface using a tool such as a finger or a stylus, or the input surface using the user or his/her finger. The present system and method monitors input strokes. The computing device also has a processor and at least one application for recognizing handwriting input under the control of the processor. the at least one system application causes the display of the digital ink and determines, from the geometric information of the alignment structure of the display interface and the geometric information of the handwriting input determined through recognition of the handwriting input, a structured transformation of the digital ink, and and cause display of the converted digital ink according to the structuring transformation.
