The invention concerns a radial film bearing (1) to store a wave (13),an enclosed housing (2) with at least three distributed over the interior (3) of the warehouse (2), one section of the interior (3) of the warehouse (2) covering film packages (4, 5, 6),each consisting of an elastic corrugated foil (7) adjacent to the interior (3) of the bearing housing (2) and an elastic corrugated foil (7) adjacent to the underside of the corrugated foil (7) and a corrugated foil (13) forming on the upper side of the corrugated sheet (8), where, at the inner envelope (3) of the bearing housing (2), protrusions extending parallel to the bearing rotation axis, are arranged from the inside to the outside of the bearing housing (2) inserted into the bearing housing (9, 10), which are intended to accommodate the end edges (9, 10) and the cover foils (8) limiting in their circumference and tangentially free of movement in the connectors (11, 12).According to the invention, the wavelengths (7) have at least one of their axial-width (B) decreasing alignment (16, 17) at their side-edges (14, 15) running in a circumferential direction (14, 15), reducing the radial spring-stiffness of the wavelengths (7) in the area of their side edges (14, 15).
