Problem to be solved: to provide an apparatus and method for changing a condition of a solution flowing through a serial path.Specifically, the present disclosure discloses an apparatus comprising a series of chemical reactors, a first system and a second system, respectively.The first and second systems each include a mixing chamber, a solvent reservoir, a solvent pump and one or more detectors.A method of varying the conditions of the solution is also disclosed herein.The method includes detecting a sample condition after mixing a sample with at least two separate solvents, mixing the sample with the at least two separate solvents while flowing the liquid sample into the path, while the sample is flowing through the path.Diagram
