An auxiliary fire extinguishing device (100) for fire of forest, a petrochemical enterprise, and an oil storage tank, comprising a fire control blanket (1), a fixing assembly (2), and weight-increasing assemblies (3), wherein the fixing assembly (2) is provided at the edge of the fire control blanket (1) to position the fire control blanket (1), and the weight-increasing assemblies (3) are provided at the edge of the fire control blanket (1), so that the edge of the fire control blanket (1) sags. The auxiliary fire extinguishing device (100) for fire of forest, the petrochemical enterprise, and the oil storage tank has the characteristics such as high adaptability, high fire extinguishing timeliness, and good fire extinguishing effect. The present invention further relates to two auxiliary fire extinguishing methods using the auxiliary fire extinguishing device (100) for fire of forest, the petrochemical enterprise, and the oil storage tank.
