The invention relates to an elevator monitoring device (106) for providing user tracking data of an elevator car (102). The elevator monitoring device (106) is arranged to the elevator car (102) and is a part of a contact tracking system (200). The elevator monitoring device (106) is configured to: detect one or more user devices (202a-202n) belonging to the contact tracking system (200) inside the elevator car (102), and provide user tracking data representing the detection of the one or mode user devices (202a-202n) to a storage unit to be stored thereon. The invention relates also to a method for providing user tracking data of an elevator car (102) and to an elevator system.
