The present invention relates to a composition for feeding livestock for improving meat quality, comprising an extract of a by-product of Schisandra by-product, and a method for preparing the same. The composition for feeding livestock of the present invention uses the extract of the by-product of Schisandra Schisandra including the stem as an active ingredient, and can increase the protein, amino acid and unsaturated fatty acid content in the meat by adding it to livestock feed or drinking water or feeding it separately.
