PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pressurized water-processed rice comprising calcium, and capable of enhancing calcium absorption in the human body.;SOLUTION: Water, fine granular calcium mixtures, and α-cyclodextrin are put into a manufacturing tank for making solution for infiltration (S11-S13). The calcium mixtures comprise calcium or calcium salts, chondroitin sulfate, magnesium carbonate, citric acid and cyclodextrin. Then an operator puts brown rice into the manufacturing tank (S14). The brown rice infiltrated into the solution for infiltration is caused to comprise calcium, chondroitin sulfate, α-cyclodextrin and others. The brown rice comprising calcium and others is taken out from the manufacturing tank, put into a pressurizing chamber (S15), applied with high pressure in the pressurizing chamber (S16) and modified. The modified brown rice (pressurized water-processed rice) is dried (S17), and then enclosed in packing containers (S18).;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2021,JPO&INPIT
