Disclosed are a system and method for monitoring staged power generation information for efficient solar power plant failure diagnosis. A string level abnormal operation monitoring system according to an embodiment of the present specification includes a current sensor attached to a connection panel of a solar power plant to sense the output current of two or more strings; a wireless transmission device connected to the current sensor, suppressing a noise component in the sensed output current, and transmitting the suppressed output current information to a wireless communication information collection device through a wireless communication network; and a wireless communication information collecting device receiving and comparing/analyzing the output current information, and when the output current information is less than or equal to a threshold, it may be determined that the string corresponding to the output current information is an abnormal operation.
