MANAGEMENT CAPABILITIES FOR A WIRELESS DOCKING EXPERIENCE

This document describes the management capabilities for the wireless docking experience. The wireless dock is configured to connect to several peripheral devices such as a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Mobile devices may be connected to the wireless dock through a short-range wireless connection to use several peripheral devices. When collocated with other wireless docks, the wireless dock may be configured to provide management information along with a broadcast signal usable at mobile devices to manage wireless connection to and experience with the wireless dock. The management information may include one or more of a do-not-automatically-connect indicator, an in-use indicator, an internet availability indicator, or a group identifier.
