It is intended to provide a shoe 10 in which a tab 16, when held at its free end against an upper 14, cannot shift in position with respect to the upper 14. A shoe 10 has a sole 12, an upper 14 attached to the sole 12, and a tab 16 extending in a width direction of the shoe 10. The tab 16 has a proximal end 16a attached to the upper 14 and a distal end 16b located on an opposite side of the proximal end 16a in the width direction of the shoe 10. One of the top 14 or tab 16 has at least one first engagement portion 20, while the other of the top 14 or tab 16 has at least one second engagement portion 30 that engages the at least one first engagement portion 20 as it moves extends in a direction intersecting a longitudinal direction of the shoe 10 when the distal end 16b is held against the upper 14.
