Disclosed is a method for providing a textile material(s) resistant to the deposition of oil- and grease-based air pollutants by treating the textile material(s) with an oil/grease resistant composition. The oil/grease resistant composition comprises a modified poIysaccharide(s), particularly, polysaccharides modified with anionic groups, and one or more adjuvant materials.
