The invention relates to a roller shutter arrangement with a roller shutter curtain and a winding shaft for the roller shutter curtain, which are connected to one another via a spring element. The spring element has two end connecting sections and a middle part, a first connecting element in the first connecting section for connecting the spring element to the roller shutter curtain and a second connecting element in the second connecting section for connecting the spring element to the winding shaft. When the roller shutter curtain is rolled up, the spring element can be bent reversibly around an outer contour of the winding shaft. Furthermore, when the roller shutter curtain is unrolled, the spring element is linearly aligned between the roller shutter curtain and the winding shaft, at least in the central part, and it is stiffened as a resistance to further rotation of the winding shaft in a rolling direction of the roller shutter curtain.
