To provide a clinical evaluation apparatus capable of performing motion function evaluation with high quantitativity using a clinical evaluation index for a patient of myopathy.SOLUTION: A clinical evaluation apparatus for performing a clinical evaluation with respect to a predetermined disease on a subject includes an acceleration sensor 120 attached to the subject's trunk part. The clinical evaluation apparatus includes a data analysis computer 1000 that stores, with respect to a target group including a health group and a disease group, data obtained by time-series analysis on acceleration measured previously for each stage of the disease by the acceleration sensor attached to the trunk part in association with an index showing the degree of damage of a predetermined skeletal muscle in the target group; on the basis of correlation between the stored data from acceleration and index showing the degree of damage, estimates an index for the subject using acceleration data measured on the subject by the acceleration sensor 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
