A development assisting device (100) comprises: a plurality of converting units (110-1, 110-2, ... and 110-N) each for converting one of an input signal value or meta information into one of a signal value or meta information, and for outputting one of the signal value after conversion or the meta information after conversion as output information; a pipeline unit (120) for causing the plurality of conversion units (110-1, 110-2, ..., and 110-N), based on pipeline information, showing a relationship of mutual connections between the plurality of conversion units (110 -1, 110-2, ..., and 110-N) to carry out corresponding conversion processes one after the other; an inference unit (130) for performing an inference using the output information output from a final conversion unit that causes the pipeline unit (120) to finally perform the conversion process based on the pipeline information from the plurality of conversion units (110 -1, 110-2, ... and 110-N); and an image generation unit (190) for generating image information for visualizing the connection relationship shown by the pipeline information and a relationship of connection between the final converting unit and the inference unit (130).
