A method for studying the development of insulin resistance in acute emotional-immobilization stress in an experiment includes determining the HOMA-IR index. In this case, for 7 days, the simulation of emotional-immobilization stress is performed daily, and the HOMA-IR index is determined before and after the end of the stress load.
