ID. no. 2 or a sequence that is at least 90% similar to the sequence corresponding to SEQ. ID. no. 2, preferably 90-99.9% or more similar, and more preferably 95-97% similar, for the treatment and/or diagnostics of tumors. A method for obtaining the ligand of the receptor of follicle-stimulating hormone (RFSH) of a human, which is a β-subunit of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSHβ) of a human, using recombinant DNA technology, is also proposed.
