SHIP PROPULSION METHOD AND STRUCTURE DEVICE USING AIR WORKING MEDIUM FOR PROPULSION

Disclosed are a ship propulsion structure device and method using an air working medium for propulsion. Axial flow jet propulsion devices (1) using the air working medium for propulsion are mounted and deployed on a broadside of a ship (2) above a waterline or at one or more places in a space above the stern of the ship in a combined manner. Furthermore, by combining the axial flow jet propulsion devices (1) using a water working medium for propulsion arranged below the waterline of the ship, the ship (2) has the propulsion capacity of dual working mediums, thereby greatly enhancing the driving propulsion force for the ship, creating propulsion conditions for general high speeds of the ship, and further providing coping means for the ship to cope with navigation in complex water environments, for example, the pure air working medium can be selected for propulsion in shallow water areas which are not suitable for propulsion by means of propellers and pump jets or in water areas with too many floating objects, which are difficult for the ship to navigate.
