The invention relates to a device (1) for press-bending glass panes (8), comprising: - a first press-bending mould (5) with a first press face (6), - a second press-bending mould (9) with a second press face (10), which comprises a press frame (12) and one or more press inserts (13), the press inserts (13) each forming a strut in the mould and being arranged at least partly within a region (15) delimited by the press frame (12), the press frame (12) and the one or more press inserts (13) each having a press face portion (14, 14') which together form the second press face (10), the second press face (10) being formed in a manner complementary to the first press face (6), the two press-bending moulds (5, 9) being movable relative to one another in the vertical direction such that a glass pane (8) can be press-bent between the two press faces (6, 10), the one or more press inserts (13) each being designed such that a region (B) with alternating curvature of the glass sheet (8) can be press bent by each press face portion (14').
