PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite carrier core material capable of suppressing an image memory and suppressing the occurrence of carrier adhesion with less wear of a resin coating layer even after long-term use. A ferrite carrier core material has a maximum particle depth Rz of 1.95 μm or more and 2.38 μm or less, an average particle length RSm of 7.20 μm or more and 8.50 μm or less, and a product of Rz and RSm.
