The invention relates to a device for dispensing a liquid ophthalmic product with a removable reservoir. The device comprises an electric motor, a source of electrical energy adapted to power the motor, a spray nozzle (2), a pump actuable by the motor and which is configured to pump and to pressurize a liquid ophthalmic product from 'a reservoir. The product pressurized by the pump is supplied to the nozzle, and is dispensed in vaporized form, that is, in the form of a mist. The device developed in the invention allows the dispensing of an ophthalmic product with simple gestures for the user, without discomfort. It allows the distribution of most liquid ophthalmic products, including viscous ones, in doses of volume comparable to the volumes dispensed by conventional drip bottles.
